Hello, my name is Rodejhane' Nelson, I am 26 years old. I have always been someone that was drawn to helping and caring for people. Most of my experience is in healthcare/caregiving. I don't see being a caregiver as a job, it's something that I've been drawn to since I was a child. I've cared for family, animals, friends, and strangers. I want to be a caregiver because it's how I can give back to the community and I know everyone needs a companion.

I am compassionate and professional. I am well educated in caregiving techniques and basic medical knowledge. I have worked in a Dr offices, assisted living and now as a nurse aide in a hospital. I want to be there for people so they can stay home as long as possible. I believe that caregiving is a God given trait and I enjoy the work. I became a nurse aid just to try something different. I never dreamed that 20 yrs. later I would still be doing this as well as enjoying it, but I have learned so much along the way and the experience is priceless. In all the years I have pretty much worked in every area of healthcare. I started out in a nursing facility then went to a hospital, then home health, hospice, neuro-recovery facility, mental health, pediatrics, geriatrics, alzheimers/dementia, ALS, TBI pediatrics, etc... I take pride in my work and care about my patients as if they were my own family, all while maintaining respect, privacy, dignity and having empathy for them as well as their families. I try to put myself in the other shoes. I know there's alot of "caring" people out there but I believe the true genuine people are few and very far between.

I have always had a special love for the geriatric population! Since graduating high school I have worked in the medical field. I believe it's my gift from God!

Hello, I'm Ronae , The reason I'd think I'm a good fit for this job is because ever since I was younger my mom worked with home health care for my grandfather , I've watched her do cna work on a daily, I've always gave her a helping hand. I found joy in taking care of my elderly grandfather , I took the steps very seriously. He made me promise him if this is something I enjoyed & found joy in (The health care field) *Go for it , When I turned 18 I got the job at lampstand nursing & rehabilitation for a nurse assistant , I'm very outspoken, a great Team member , also always open to hear what I can improve myself on, i have 2+ years experience with alzheimer's, dementia , hospice, and younger patients , with my CPR Certification as well ,I did currently stop working at lampstand due to pregnancy & dealing with a toddler. But i did find a helpful childcare source so Im excited to have an opportunity on joining your team!

I absolutely love being around people, I enjoy taking care of people, helping them get better and/or maintaining comfort levels. I have a high level of patience I pride myself on, and I feel like it is my calling in life to take care of people, no matter what their background. Bringing joy to my patients also brings joy to me, I love being able to bring a smile to their faces.
