I am a Christian woman, single mom with 3 grown and one still in the nest and two grown that I donated my eggs for my cousin(by marriage) to be able to have kids. I am compassionate and professional. I am well educated in caregiving techniques and basic medical knowledge. I have worked in a Dr offices, assisted living and now as a nurse aide in a hospital. I want to be there for people so they can stay home as long as possible. I believe that caregiving is a God given trait and I enjoy the work. I became a nurse aid just to try something different. I never dreamed that 20 yrs. later I would still be doing this as well as enjoying it, but I have learned so much along the way and the experience is priceless. In all the years I have pretty much worked in every area of healthcare. I started out in a nursing facility then went to a hospital, then home health, hospice, neuro-recovery facility, mental health, pediatrics, geriatrics, alzheimers/dementia, ALS, TBI pediatrics, etc... I take pride in my work and care about my patients as if they were my own family, all while maintaining respect, privacy, dignity and having empathy for them as well as their families. I try to put myself in the other shoes. I know there's alot of "caring" people out there but I believe the true genuine people are few and very far between.

My patience and compassion are what makes myself to be an exceptional caregiver. Every client deserves to be treated with respect and dignity at all times, and my goal is to care for my clients like I would my own family. Losing one's independence can be extremely difficult and will take some time to adjust to. This requires a caregiver to be very patient, understanding, and accepting. I've been caregiving for over 20 years, and I consider it to be my true passion. I received my CNA License in 1999, after training at Tomball Nursing Center in Tomball,TX. I am pleased to say that I have experience in all levels of care ranging from being fully dependent (feeding tubes, Hoyer Lifts, etc.) to only needing minor assistance. I graduated with Honors in May of 2019, earning an Associate Degree in Science. I was also inducted into the International Honor Society while attending Lone Star College. This is due to serious dedication and hard work.
