If I have any kind of developmental disability or I have become aged, weak or sick and need support, what sort of person would I like to take care of me? That is the kind of person I am. I have a lot of compassion and Love to offer. I'm patient and kind; I would do anything to make sure that the person I'm taking care of is comfortable and happy. Hi I'm Ateka, I've been a caregiver for 12 years. Working as a caregiver is very fulfilling as I enjoy seeing my clients happy and healthy. I believe that you should always take care of those who can't help themselves. In my country of Ethiopia I took care of senior citizens. I'm a CNA who has been caring for seniors over the past 14 years in conjunction with other caregivers in their private homes. I engaged in daily activities, including organizing mail, managing appointments, and exercising. I provided daily transferring of the patient from bed to wheelchair, to recliner and walking around the house and outside when it is safe to do so. I enjoy working with Seniors so that they can live in their homes as long as possible and so that their family members can have peace of mind.
