If I have any kind of developmental disability or I have become aged, weak or sick and need support, what sort of person would I like to take care of me? That is the kind of person I am. I have a lot of compassion and Love to offer. I'm patient and kind; I would do anything to make sure that the person I'm taking care of is comfortable and happy. I will make sure that they never lack what they need from me as their CNA. I believe in following rules and regulations that are laid out for me without any fail. I always admit when I'm wrong and I will always be accountable for it. I'm a caregiver.

I'm a CNA who has been caring for seniors over the past 14 years in conjunction with other caregivers in their private homes. I assisted with personal care, meals, light housekeeping, medication reminders, maintaining adequate groceries in the house through the family. I engaged in daily activities, including organizing mail, managing appointments, and exercising. I provided daily transferring of the patient from bed to wheelchair, to recliner and walking around the house and outside when it is safe to do so. I enjoy working with Seniors so that they can live in their homes as long as possible and so that their family members can have peace of mind. I enjoy finding ways to make life easier for someone to live in their home. I am patient and an out of the box thinker.

What makes you a great caregiver? I genuinely care about other people regardless differences and challenging characteristics; I don’t judge people and give them their privacy as well as take care of them with the best care and to their liking and comfort needs. I make sure things are done right and don’t take shortcuts, I’m honest, loyal, and compassionate towards other people. Why did you become a caregiver? I became a caregiver because I realized I listened to peoples needs and wanted to help improve the quality of their lives. I’m good at taking orders and encouraging people to do their best, to bring the best in them out. What do you like about being a caregiver? I enjoy when someone is content with the quality care I provide them. I enjoy taking people’s health into my hands and being successful, by keeping them at their optimal health. What is a personal achievement you are proud of? I am proud to have become a well-informed healthcare professional that knows how to care for any individual with any kind of condition due to all my experience and skills obtained from training.

I care about others, I give the care I would like to receive if I was in their positions. I have been a caregiver since 1995: in nursing home facilities, in group homes and in private homes. I come from a family of caregivers, including nurses and two doctors! I enjoy working with people and being around people! I am proud of having gone to school and completing college!

Just moved into the USA 3 years ago and currently working on getting registered as a nurse here in the usa. I'm very humble and respectful and I'm someone whose very passionate. If you're looking for the best, you won't regret. I'm not only limited to male clients as I have managed a few female clients who really appreciated my work. I am best at cooking and cleaning. I'm very physical when it comes to transferring and lifting clients. I'm the kind of guy that will ask you or my clients of their favorite song and serenade them over karaoke (which pretty much help some of my dementia clients get them right with memory(s)). My intentions are to advocate and to make sure that my clients engages in activities of daily living, doing what they love best at their satisfaction, not allowing any disability or anomalie to stop them from doing so. I would be their feet, their hands, their eyes and be an insight toward achieving what's best for them as far as their care is concerned.so far in-terms of personal achievement and caregiving, currently I had a client with dementia who after every 20 minutes forgets, her long term memory is all hazy( her husband who is with with her has Alzheimer's and helps her with her memory). So after doing an assessment I found out that she loves Karaoke. I got her daughter to give me a list of of her favorite songs. To my surprise for the first time ever she sang the lyrics without looking at the lyrics on the-phone and she sand beautifully. She even remembered all events relating to the song. I am patient , take time and listen to my patient's needs, I am experienced working with elderly and sick patients needing total care. In our culture we value older adults respect and cherish them. They are full of knowledge and experiences in their life time. Being from another country I feel honored to hold a conversation with my patients. It is rewarding to provide care for vulnerable adults who really needs it at the time when they are really sick.
