I chose caregiving because of how fulfilled it makes me feel. I give care because of my love and passion for people, need to help others and my desire to make a positive difference in the society by impacting other people's lives. Seeing a big smile on other people's faces is refreshing. I'm a warm, kind, caring, giving, compassionate, patient, positive and athletic individual who enjoys being active, caring for others and making a positive difference. I feel very lucky and blessed to be able to use these qualities to help others through their daily life's experiences and with their activities of daily living. I thoroughly enjoy my job of caring for people and touching lives through compassionate care. Helping others to me, is enriching, rewarding, interesting, interactive, involving, versatile, and diverse; as I get to meet, communicate with and help people from all walks of life. There's always something different whether it's helping them to be able to get back on their feet, or helping them through their current life's experience; whatever it is that they are going through. Since I'm athletic and really enjoy being active, caregiving keeps me on my feet daily. Also, I get to meet and care for unique and amazing individuals, meet their families, learn about them and what makes them tick. In the process I get to know their likes, dislikes, values, cultures, traditions and all the fun stuff, gaining more knowledge and experience from them, while being in charge of my own scheduling. How fantastic is that!

This was my dream job when I was about 12 years taking care of my grand mother everyday after school. My duties were to take food to her, collect firewood, draw water from the river and sweep her kitchen and wash dishes. I loved and still love taking care of the elderly and the sick to this day. I am a compassionate, responsible, loving, patient, good company, attentive listener and also empathetic.I am a sociable person who has a natural affinity to providing continuous care. I am dependable, able to handle situations under pressure. Looking for a compatible family or company to work with.
