Greetings! I'm Sheila, I've been in the healthcare field going on 9yrs now. I've had many experiences from a home health to hospitals, to assisted living, long-term care, physical therapy and etc. I gain my passion of becoming a CNA through the love that I have to care for others. It's my drive and dedication that keeps me lifted daily. Never in a million years did I think my role of being a CNA would take place once upon a time in my life with my own family member. A year ago my sister was in a tragic accident which left her paralyzed and in the care of both me and my mom. Although I already had passion and love for what I do, that gave me even more strength and courage being as good as I was. August of 2022, she gained her wings and it's a moment I'll never forget. It gives me the mindset to strive and continue pushing myself daily for better. I want to make a difference someday inside the healthcare field and my goal is to do just that. I'm currently a online graduate student pursuing my Masters in Healthcare Management. Upon graduation I will continue my career as a CNA as well as gain a higher position inside the healthcare field. Being in this position, you understand what it feels like, what it takes and how strong you truly have to be caring for others and that is something I truly don't ever see myself pulling away from. Can't wait to meet you guys and I'm excited about this new job journey.

I'm a positive person and I like to listen to the person I'm caring for!! I love people and the elderly has taught me things I can use in everyday life! Making sure my job is done correctly and right and seeing the person I'm caring for smile warms my heart.. Being a care giver!!! I'm so proud I am a caregiver!!

I absolutely love being able to care for and be a companion to people. I first got my CNA license in November of 2017 so that I could do what I am passionate about. Since I was a child I was always drawn to caring for others and it makes me happy to know that I will be bringing joy to those that I care for.

Hello! I'm currently a student at a local college to further my nursing career! I have 2 and a half years of caregiving experience! I also am cpr/cna certified. I find helping people enjoyable and I get to do that with being a caregiver!

I know I am a great caregiver because being with our senior citizens is something I love, it isn't a job for me. Being a good caregiver you can't be a selfish person and you must know how to put others before you but without neglecting your self, I have became a matter at this. I am reliable and dependable and warm which are important qualities to look for in the best care givers.

I love being a caregiver because I have always liked to take care of my family , so I decided why not help other families and take care of their loved ones when they aren't able to.

I started as a CNA when I turned 19 as a divorced single mom with a special needs child and no clue how to proceed.. I couldn't attend school work and tend to a high needs child so I worked and learned everything I could about epilepsy . And as a caregiver I became interested in dementia and Alzheimer's.. the Correlation between the diseases became a fascination for me which translates into the type of care that I provide for my clients. Between growing up in a family owned business where customer service was the TOP priority anticipating a clients basic needs came easily , then learning the specific and special que's and needs of the elderly was a easy cross over that I have loved ever since.. I hold a very dear spot in my heart and mind for so many wise ones, as I privately refer to them . I have gained more knowledge from my clients then I ever did behind a desk in school and I am both privileged and blessed to have been given this calling in my life.
