Hi ! I'm Savannah , I have been state certified as a CNA / Medical assistant for 5 years. I enjoy my job as a care giver ! I have worked in hospitals, nursing home facilities and private in home care. I am CPR certified. I have experience in geriatric units, senior behavioral units, stroke patients, Alzheimer's patients. I can operate any kind of Lift , I can start IVS, I can operate a feeding pump as well as manual peg tube feedings . I can also administer medication as needed .

I became a caregiver because I love to help people. I have witnessed alot of sickness and death very up close and personal in my family, so I felt every need to learn how to care for them. What I like about caregiving is getting to know new people, and becoming close. The thing about caregiving is you become a natural part of that person's life, usually you're the only person they see on a daily basis, so you all become close and establish a friendship or bond that I feel is a great reward. I am very proud of myself for enrolling back into school and obtaining my PCT certification. Using the knowledge I obtain from school I will be able to do more to make a difference in the lives of others. I am a very caring, dependable person. I strive to be better every day, and always put my best foot forward. I try my best to impact every patient I have positively, I try to brighten up their day, every day so that if things were to take a turn for the worst, at least they would know somebody was there and somebody cared.
