When it come to helping someone, my heart goes out. My number rule is placing myself in ones shoes and saying how would I want someone to be if I needed the care that I'm giving to the other person. Anyone I've ever meet to liking to me very quick. I have a passionate for taking care of people, I love to make anyone feel like their needs and life matter, and they deserve to have proper care. When take care of anyone I've been told alot that I'm one of the best caregivers they have and that makes me feel like I'm doing what I'm placed there to do. We all were placed here on earth by good for a reason, and I know mines is to take care of others...

Hmm...about me? When I took the class to become certified, I had no idea the impact it would have on my life, much less, how it would impact the person I am today. I think being personable and empathetic are important qualities that have been enhanced throughout the last nine years. I never put much though into becoming a caregiver, it just kind of came about, but now I feel like its a way for me to step away from "self." Whatever may be going on in life gets left at the door or at the time clock, then I step into another "self." Its hard to describe the way this type of work makes me feel which, in turn, has a positive affect on my job performance and I like to think people can see this shine through in my personality. I can honestly say that I'm happy to have gained the friendships, knowledge and experience I wouldn't have otherwise had a chance to gain. My most recent personal achievement is being enrolled to start on online classes to take the next step in the healthcare feild.

i became a caregiver, because I like caring for people of all ages, it brings me joy to know that someone needs and appreciates me. Things I like about being a caregiver is getting know different people and knowing that they can always depend on me to be there when no else can't. In a nutshell, I just always loved helping people that need me and that security. Some personal achievements that I'm proud of is getting my EMT(Emergency Medical Technician Certification.) I also have certification as a Medical Assistant and Certified nursing assistant. I a 42yr old single mother of 4 children currently in school getting a degree as an RN(Registered Nurse, anticipating graduating on 05/16/2015. I'm also certified and successfully completed the cognitive skills evaluations in accordance with the curriculum of the American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR and AED) Program.

I have worked in long term care for over 30yrs as a nurse assistant, and has been a social director for the past 15yrs. I enjoy working with people. Have been employed with the same company for 25yrs.

I became an caregiver because I have always been passionate about helping others when I was a little girl I always found myself trying to care for my grandmother in any form of shape. The most important thing I love about being a caregiver is knowing that I have helped someone and being able to give he or she a smile just by them knowing that someone is their for them. A personal achievement that I am proud of would be being a loving,caring individual that loves helping others. Something about myself I have three amazing children that I adore so very much and I am going to further my education to become an Register Nurse
