I have ALWAYS enjoyed being needed and helping others out. I would be the girl running to grab bandaids for my friends if they needed one. Iv always been caring and enjoy caring for others. That is a big part of my personality ! It is so enjoyable to be involved in elderly lives ! I find it so rewarding to help those who have lived their life. What a privilege it is and while they might be done living their "best" life, I enjoy bringing them ease and comfort. A part of me feels like I help them enjoy life even though it's not the life they use to have. I have worked with clients on chemo, altimeters, dementia, and gastrointestinal disorders. It has shown me how you come off and say things make a HUGE difference in their every day life. I like to keep it as simple as possible, as stress free as possible, and as comfortable as possible. This makes life easy. I am proud I have found through experience these little tactics out. I absolutely LOVE caregiving. It helps prepares me for my future roles as a further my career. Hello, My name is Shaquanna Jackson and I have been A wonderful caregiver for 11 years. I'm very hands on, outgoing, understanding, compassionate and I take pride in what I do. What attracted me to become A CNA is my grandmother, I took care of her at the age of 15 up until I was 19 years old when she passed. I always had A passion for taking care of people, so this is the perfect job for me.I enjoy providing companionship, And being in the position to help other. A personal achievement I am proud of is I finished my Activity director program, Finished my medical Assistant program , enrolling back in college and my Daughter graduating high school this year

I believe I was put on this earth to be a Caregiver I treat clients like there my own family. I get close with there family and friends to learn all I can about them. I stick with them til the end and Love them dearly. I will do whatever I have to to put a smile on their face including dance around the living room. I have two other women that help me care for them when needed. I keep in touch with their families long after I'm no longer working for them. Just Love my job.

I have worked with the disabled for several years as a caregiver, site supervisor for housing facility and a teacher. There has been nothing more rewarding in my working career as helping someone with their needs. They gave me purpose after losing my husband. I am a kind, empathetic, nurturing individual who loves to help other people.

Having a Great Grandmother that suffered from a Stroke , and Alzheimer's Dementia To watching my Grandmother a woman that raised me be defeated by Cancer, is where my care and compassion began . At an early age I was forced to help take care of two of the most influential individuals in my life and although it was hard seeing them in that state of health and mind . I also felt it was my DUTY to repay them With the care , love , and compassion I was given as a child . In the latter years they passed away but the urge to help those in need Continued to tug at me .. so at the age of 19 while I was pregnant with my first son I decided I would take a cna course get my license and help other families in need. I did just that , I took a one month course in April of 2011 and by May of 2011 I took my State Board test and was certified ! I know for my family in general with my Great Grand and Grandmother. It was very complicated to find Good Genuine Help that we could trust with our loved ones .. now don't get me wrong I never said that we didnt eventually get the help needed but in the early stages it was HARD.. and trying to provide care, compassion , love and etc to my loved ones while trying to work full time and take care of my family was hard . I've been there soo I get it , and that's why I decided to take initiative to help make it a little less complicated and stressful to the next family . We were all placed upon this earth for a purpose , and those purposes vary from person to person ... My purpose is to help be a Blessing , Friend, and Caregiver to someone in need.

I have a passion to care for anyone that needs help, my son which has chronic lung disease, is what attracted me dearly on learning more about caring for others with disabilities, I enjoy insuring to the family I'm reliable to care for there loved ones, my personal achievement, is that I furthered my education with patient care and disabled patients.
