What would make me be a great caregiver is that i have a sense of empathy, caring either for a small child to and elderly person. I understand and connect most of the time with Patients that they can create a sense of calmness and trust with in me. I also have lots of Patients for those in need of my help i listen to what ever they have to tell me so they can feel some affection towards a caregiver. What attracts me to being a caregiver is that i myself have grandparents living with me i know as getting to a certain age you need help and cant do many things for yourself, There for this is when i realized this would be a perfect job for, since i love to help others in need or may need any type of resources from me. What i enjoy most about being a caregiver is that you get to listen to other people, have a conversation with them and help them feel better. A personal achievement that i am proud of is that i have grown in this career path not only as for who i am but also my capability of managing a professional Medical Assistant in me and helping those in need of my help.

So what makes me an awesome caregiver is the following; First and foremost I have a caring and nurturing personality, I have empathy for others and understand people have different reactions to situations, I'm patient, I'm attentive but also allow the patient to be as independent as they can be and to make sure I'm not overbearing, I'm trustworthy and loyal, I communicate with the patient and family and lastly, I try to make myself available anytime I'm needed. Caregiving is something that's not meant for everyone. I enjoy helping others and have always been drawn to the elderly. And the relationships I've made with patients is something I value and appreciate. I'm also CPR and first aide certified. I enjoy cooking and baking. And love animals!

What I like about being a caregiver is that I know I am helping some ones life be a little easier, be there for them when they cant do much for them selfs. I wanted to continue doing caregiving after my mother pass away she always told me I would be a good nurse some time I still looking forward to it. I personally like my job because I am showing my patients that there are people that have the skills to be there when ever is need it, there is also support, compassion, love and respect, and at the end of the day it gives me the satisfaction that I help someone and made the day easy on the patient and/or the family....I always think what goes around comes around and so do good that way later in life we get some one good to take care of us.
