I have my Certified Caregiving and Certified Nurse Assistant (and PCT) License for 9 years now. I am currently working as A CNA providing care to immigrants that need to quarantine but my job there will be ending soon mid December 2023. I began gaining experience in caregiving, assisted living, rehabilitation centers and have done 3 years night shift at St.Joseph's hospital. I am now in school to receive my bachelors as a Registered Nurse. I have a passion to strive for the care and needs of others as if they are apart of my own family. I also strive to develop trust with not only the patient but the family to always ensure excellent care and respect.

1) Been told from clients I have a great personality. I have been a caregiver for the past 21 years. Started taking care of mentally ill for first 10 years and ended up taking care of elderly the last 11 years. Love it. Wouldn't change it for the world. 2) I love helping them, making them smile 3) helping them, being there for them for companionship 4) personal achievement for me, was when I had a client who actually bought me from my company to work for only her. I love working as caregiver/medical field because I have so much love and compassion for people that is how I suceed in what I do. I realize there is some many rewards and gifts in this line of work. What I enjoy the most is meeting people and hearing about their life and experiences they have live, because everybody always has a unique story to tell. The joy you bring to their lives and the appreciation they feel. The most personal achievement I am most proud of was opening my own successful Adult Assisted living for 4 mental ill adults at 24 years old and having no idea how to run a business. I was well known in the community and was respected by the licensing committee for my excellent work. I kepted that Assisted Living open for almost 10 years. Having that business was where my passion was for caring for people. It taught me how to advocate for people that were not capable of advocating for themselves. I was their voice and that is how I was able to earn respect with people I worked with. Today is why I am so thankful and I am able to soar in my work today.

I have been a caregiver for 20+ years. I have continued my education as well. I love working with a diverse group of clients. I work with the elderly and mentally disabled from children to adults. I believe that it has always been my purpose. I am very respectful, compassionate and caring. I am also patient, responsible and trustworthy.

The most rewarding about care giving is when it felt like there is some sort of purpose in my work. There is a great opportunity to really get me to engage and have the routine like I am doing something bigger than myself because at the end of the day that is where I am going, going more towards what am I doing that is impacting others, how am I helping them because at the end of the day that is what I want to do. I want to help people and I want to be there to provide a service and really help those out who are in need.

Hello All! I am 20 years old and I absolutely love being a caregiver and am currently looking to pursue my CNA license so that I can better help my clients from a medical aspect. My most memorable experience as a caregiver has been working with a wonderful dialysis patient and helping to educate her family members and myself more about how to live a healthy and happy life while receiving hemodialysis. I was able to create an effective diet and work hand in hand with the dialysis clinic! Truly the most rewarding part of being a caregiver is the smiles I get to see everyday when my clients are happy because they have some stress relieved. I'm very proud to be in this field and I'd love to connect with you about your needs, I am extremely detail oriented and some times a little over the top with the systems I create, I want the best for my clients no matter the situation.
