I'm a great caregiver simply because I'm naturally empathetic , compassionate, enjoy helping people, and always give the best of me . I've served clients with trach/vent, suction & feeding tubes, colostomy bag, cardiac & foley cath, AFOs, wound vac, and IV's. I practice preparing healthy delicious meals, love animals, gardening, music, enjoy baking and lots of laughter. I'm extremely creative and always thinking of ways to help assure safety, comfort, and joy to my clients and their families. I've provided loving care to critical new borns, playful pediatrics, and exceptional companionship to seniors and people of all ages. As an intensive care nurse, dialysis & behavioral health technician, and certified nutritional educator, I've experienced working with an array of clients with various diseases and disorders including; arthritis, alzheimer's, cardiovascular, cancer, COPD, dementia, depression hospice, HIV/AIDS, gastrointestinal, hospice, neurological, seizures orthopedic, palliative, rehab, parkinson's, wound care, and post surgery recovery.

I started as a temporary caregiver before I went to LVN school. I was hired for companionship. When I started working, I never thought that even just for companionship, I can make a difference. My client lives alone. Every time I'm with my client, I felt happy because I was part of my client life. My client started smiling and showed happiness. In a short time I was with my client, we created a bond to each other. We go to the gym together and even to grocery store. I had a great experienced with my first caregiving job. After I graduated from my LVN school, I work with a physician who is a medical director to both home health and hospice. I went to see patients with him to client's home and I was blessed to be part of his ministry. Even though I was not part of any of his patients everyday life, I was blessed enough be there for them in a little time. Even for just a day, I got to know a lot of things about my clients.

I love being a LVN because I first wanted to be a doctor realize maybe I didn't want to go to school for that length of time so I just try nursing and I've loved it ever cents.
