I'm a CNAsince Jan, 1991, my first job was at Daniel Freeman Hospital, I work at Methodist Hospital in Arcadia and love my job, I work as a private caregiver for ten years, I'm Truthful, and compassion, and caring, I take my job very seriously, I'm an honest person.

I became a caregiver when my grandmother got I'll I was the one caring for her till The time of her death,I felt so much joy in my heart knowing I was able to make her transition with comfort. It is my outmost joy and Pleasure That I can be the change in someone's life that is so beneficial to them [?]i have such passion in caring for love ones that they can't do For Themselves. I'm very empathetic reliable and get along eazy. A good listener and very dependable. Trust me I'll be a great team member and Player.

I enjoy providing companionship and outmost care to every person I am with. I have also a great deal of medical experience. I am proficient in basic skills: personal hygiene like showers/bath, oral care, toileting, back-rub, dressing; Assists in activities of daily living such as serving & feeding, ambulating, positioning, transferring, administer meds & nutritional supplements, dressings surgical prep; Do & record vital sign: blood pressure, weight, pulse, temperature, finger pricking for sugar levels in diabetics; Measure & record food & liquid intake, urinary & fecal output and report changes. Encourage patient to exercise. Review & ask dietary restrictions, preferences, & allergies. Change bed linens, replace trash bags. Always check expiration of food & medicines. Know vital information about patient's condition, treatment plan & any suggested activity.. In a capsule, it is very important to respond immediately to patient's call for assistance and/or treatment with the goal of creating a safe, effective environment to make a difference in the lives of the patient & their families. Patience is a virtue inherent in me. I always work above & beyond my duty for the comfort & safety of my patients. I would be very glad to be of service as I have an extensive experience in the medical field.

The reason for becoming a caregiver is that I wanted more 1 to 1 interactions with patients being that working at the hospital patients come and go and it's extremely difficult to build relationships. I have since taken care of a patient (hired privately) for 3 years and she has now passed. I am looking to care for someone wholeheartedly & willing to build relationships with the family as well in order to achieve the best quality of life to those in need.
