Hello. My name is Amy. I was a fine arts teacher in Texas working with teenagers and adults for 25 years. Seven years ago I moved to California and decided to change careers, working with seniors this time, helping them to have a better quality of life. As a senior caregiver for the last 5 years most of my clients have remained in their homes to receive care, but I've also helped some in assisted living facilities and hospitals. I have experience working with seniors who have had Alzhiemer's disease, dementia, memory impairment, visual and hearing deficits, end stage cancer as well as those who need short term assistance while healing from various injuries and surgeries. I am a very empathetic, kind-hearted and compassionate person who loves to help others. I prefer working part time and daytime shifts. I am fully vaccinated and boosted.
