Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Caregivers in Challenge - 15 caregivers found

I became a caregiver in 2001 and have been doing it for over 18 years.. I like getting to know people and caring for them.. I want to treat them like they were my family member.im glad to give my time and do something I love to do.. I like to go out my way to make my resident happy..I'm very caring and I love to help out other people .. I like to take pride in my work and I do my best to make me and everyone happy...im very happy when im doing what i love.. I have been a home health care giver here in Las Vegas for 6 of those years out here in Las Vegas. I have been CNA through one of the companies I have worked with. I take pride in my work and I do my best at what is expected of me.

I feel I am a great caregiver because, I absolutely love making people happy, well, and alive. I am a very honest, trustworthy person, and I except nothing less from others. I have great respect for others, and their privacy. I have had my CNA license for 6 years, and I did home health for 10 years, with a few extra training courses including, Dementia & Alzheimer's training, wound care, medicine and 1 year internship for Mortuary School. I am a quick learner and follow instructions given. I keep a daily log of all events, meds given, and give full daily reports when requested. I am aware of all HIPPA laws and abide by them. I am reachable at all times on or off the work schedule provided. I am willing to work extra hours/shifts in all situations. I have more then 5 years of experience working as a CNA and a live in caregiver for home care agencies and have worked in nursing/retirement homes as well. Dependability, reliability, kindness, empathy, calm nature are few of my strongest traits in taking care of my loved ones. I grew up with my grandparents and naturally we take care of our own as it is a cultural thing. Nurturing and motherly traits have always come naturally to me. I am a mother of 3 but have been caring for my siblings as well as neighborhood children since I was a young girl. I became a caregiver, because i enjoy making people happy. what i like about being a caregiver is knowing i'm making someone else's life a little bit better.the personal achievement i am proud of is knowing i did everything to make my mother happy and comfortable at home before she passed away.
