Hello my name is Sailimanuia Tafu and i'm Samoan. I'm also known as Birdie. I learned all about caregiving when i cared for my parents. To see them struggle daily not being able to stay independent, helped me to pursue a career in nursing. I became a certified nurse assistant 8 years ago at a nursing home and I loved it. Being a caregiver helped me to reach out and give as much support not only for elderly people but for those who are sick and lonely.
