My name is Catherine Wayero. I grew up as an only girl child amongst 3 brothers. I love associating with people who bring growth into my life and who challenge me on doing better in the community we live in. When I was growing up, I would watch soccer with my siblings every weekends and we used to play soccer in the yard. I joined my high school soccer team ( Bethany High school) .I have loved it ever since. Besides soccer, I love sky diving, traveling ,and indoor games. I developed the love for taking care of people in need because in 2018 my best friend had a car accident that disabled her . She became disabled and bed ridden so I offered to take care of her during hard times, unfortunately she passed on, may her soul Rest In Peace. Later I ventured into the caregiving field and so far I have loved working in this field. I have grown in my confidence, compassion, experience, dependability, trustworthiness and patience when dealing with my clients I take care of. I enjoy making a difference each day of my life and spreading love and support to those who need it. My personal achievements that am very proud of is having a natural passion for helping others, willingness to listen to my clients, great interpretation and communication skills with my clients and confidence in the care I provide.

Professional and Caring

I have tremendous empathy, patience and respect for each client. I treat each one as I do my father, whom I have been caring for the last 7years.Before caregiving, I managed restaurants for 23 years. I have ALWAYS been a customer service focused person. I wanted to make a change that fulfilled my heart. The thing I enjoy most about my job is assisting people with retaining their independence and self respect, even with a disability. Everyone needs to feel productive, like they contribute. The personal achievement that I am most proud of is that in the last year I have gotten my dad into the best mental, nutritional health that he has been in in the last 30 years.

I became a caregiver for my Mother and found out that I enjoyed this line of work. I have an over abundance of patience and love helping others. I'm caring and compassionate and always put clients happiness and comfort first.

I used to work for Kaiser Permanente at Woodland Hills for 25 years, before that I work convalescent home for 4 years, at Kaiser I work at Medical Surgery floor I had a lot of experience, I would to work like caregiver Im sure I will be good on that position.

I have compassion towards the elderly and children most especially those who are in need of help with their daily activities. My first experience as a caregiver for the elderly was when my sister and I took turns in taking care of our 83-year-old mother. Moreover, I am confident with taking care of kids because I raised my own three boys (they are all adults now). Aside from being a caregiver, I am active at our church being part of its ministry. I am a good team leader and also good at following instructions from my supervisor. I am good at organizing and I always see to it that my client's room and kitchen are clean and tidy.

Trusted by my employer, perform my duties and responsibilities with full confidence, punctual on coming to work and to all doctors appointment, What attracted me being a caregiver is helping families and the client. What i enjoy most being a caregiver is when client and family appreciates my performance in giving care to the client. Hi, my name is Erin, and I was inspired to care for the elderly eleven years ago as I witnessed my great-grandmother age. She was an amazing woman and a great influence on my life. At 92 years of age, grandma started needing round the clock care. We tried several skilled nursing facilities and quickly noted that given their staff to patient ratios, Grandma was not getting the attention she needed. This lead our family to look into in-home care. I saw what how important a quality caregiver is to client's health. I knew I wanted to be the have the same positive impact on someone's life. Shortly after my grandmother passed, I embarked on my career working with the elderly. I provide services that allow seniors to stay in their homes. This includes but is not limited to bathing, dressing, medicine assistance, meal preparation, dementia care (Alzheimer, Parkinson's, Lewy Body, etc.), diabetes care, physical therapy, transportation to and from appointments, and Hospice care. I have reliable transportation, proof of insurance, and am licensed and insured. I have excellent references from local families.
