I'm a philanthropist in caregiving as I feel the want and need to pay it forward to the elderly, sick, and disabled population. I desire to help seniors because without them; our young generation would have never had the proper guidance in life. My need to give to the sick and disabled population has stemmed from very personal life experiences. What I have observed is most of the sick and disabled population are significantly left out or overlooked in many aspects of life. Compassion, high empathy, respect, patience, understanding, upbeat attitude, and a great friend are helpful personal traits that make me an exceptional caregiver. Making someone's day a lot brighter, assisting a laugh, or helping the old, sick, and disabled produce a smile on a consistent basis is my love and attraction to the caregiving sector.

My name is Catherine Wayero. I grew up as an only girl child amongst 3 brothers. I love associating with people who bring growth into my life and who challenge me on doing better in the community we live in. When I was growing up, I would watch soccer with my siblings every weekends and we used to play soccer in the yard. I joined my high school soccer team ( Bethany High school) .I have loved it ever since. Besides soccer, I love sky diving, traveling ,and indoor games. I developed the love for taking care of people in need because in 2018 my best friend had a car accident that disabled her . She became disabled and bed ridden so I offered to take care of her during hard times, unfortunately she passed on, may her soul Rest In Peace. Later I ventured into the caregiving field and so far I have loved working in this field. I have grown in my confidence, compassion, experience, dependability, trustworthiness and patience when dealing with my clients I take care of. I enjoy making a difference each day of my life and spreading love and support to those who need it. My personal achievements that am very proud of is having a natural passion for helping others, willingness to listen to my clients, great interpretation and communication skills with my clients and confidence in the care I provide.

I am a happy, healthy, compassionate, loyal, patient, loving person who found my caregiver calling late in life. I am 65 years old and have been doing this for a little over 12 years and love what I do. I started when a couple different neighbors of mine were ill and didn't have any family to help them. I had my CPR CERT so I said why not and when they were doing better I decided to make this my work. (IHSS, CARE.COM, CARELINX) The first client I had was in very bad shape when I met him, diabetes, renal failure, heart failure, living on his own, not keeping up with his meds or taking his insulin properly. I called his Dr. got him on a med schedule and with the right food, TLC and exercise he did quite well. Since then I have had several different clients, one was on hospice and others I took to Dr appts., med Mgmt. , meal prep, errands and companionship. I enjoy my work and I work hard!

Hi! My name is Joe and I live in Los Angeles. English is my first language and I've been a caregiver for over 10 years. I first got into this field unexpectedly when my father was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. Over the years I have worked with: Parkinson's, special needs, dementia, ALS, and end-of-life hospice patients. I love taking my clients for outings in this dynamic city and playing music based on their generation that gives them a sense of familiarity. I am an excellent cook! Some of my specialties include: red bean and rice w/ plantains, orzo w/ anchovies and balsamic glaze, and anything Korean... I have a minimum 12 hr requirement at $25 an hr w/overtime which comes out to $350 per day. Looking forward to helping you get back on your feet safely!

Besides experience and knowledge I acquired from nursing school, helping others has always been my passion. I find joy and fulfillment knowing I make a difference in someone else's life. I am patient and willing to adjust to the needs of my clients. I try to put myself in their shoes, to try and understand them. I treat my patients with love and respect, and with dignity, just like how I would want to be treated if I was in their same situation. Since I was a young age, I have always been interested in helping other people. I enjoy helping others who have trouble helping themselves especially the elderly. I completed my vocational nursing studies in 2012 and it was at that point I realised that helping people is my calling. I love that being a caregiver, you can make a difference. It's a rewarding experience providing care and assistance to those who are no longer able to do so and to know that I have done my job right when I see smiles on their faces. The moments that make me most proud of as a care giver is when I see my patients doing well, seeing their happy faces.
