I grew up helping seniors I knew and have always loved doing so. I love being needed and feeling like I am making their life better, happier, healthier. I am an empathic soul and have compassion for people hurting or needing help. As I know, illness and aging is apart of life, if I can help to bring a caring, and comforting helping hand, I feel I'm doing something that is meaningfull.That brings me joy. Everyone has a story. I like helping people and found working as a 'Home Care Aid' very fulfilling. Several years ago, my first client was a woman in hospice and I filled in so the family could get some rest. As I sat beside the lady, I looked around the room and saw pictures of her as a young woman on her wedding day, as a young mother and later as a grandmother. Her cook book was there with all kinds of personal notes etc. and just think I was so lucky to have been able to be there with her for that short time. Most of my clients I have been able to help with errands, transportation, meals, assisting with bathing and companionship. I value the time I have spent with the new friends I have made - short term and long term.

Hello, my name is Adi Elenoa (i prefer to go by "Elenoa") Im originally from the Fiji Islands in the South Pacific. Ive been a caregiver for the past 8 years and a registered Home Care Aide and have certification for Basic Life Support. I have experience in caring for both male and female elderly clients, specifically those with Dementia, COPD, hospice and have also cared for those discharged and undergoing rehabilitation at home and also those that need companionship with assistance.
