Since I was a child, I've loved helping other people. I enjoy working with people of all ages and circumstances. What excites me most about this position is the opportunity to help those with disabilities live happier, healthier lives. I think helping other people affects the local community positively, so I'd feel honored to accept such a vital role. I'm interested in being a caregiver because I'd like to increase the amount of care the elderly population receives. As I learned through my previous health care experience, this population often benefits from caregivers who provide companionship and who pay attention to detail. This can help improve the daily lives of this population. I'd love to be a part of that effort through this position and help improve the kind of care this group receives

My name is Arlette, My journey working with seniors started when I cared for my grandmother when she needed the help about 10 years ago. After that I noticed I enjoyed caring for the elderly and spending time with them. I love listening to their stories and learning from their experiences. I see them and treat them as my family. I like to help them get the best quality of life under their circumstances. I feel a sense of accomplishment every time it's time for me to leave their house and they have a smile on their faces. That lets me know they are happy and feel safe under my care. I have worked with people suffering from different illness like: Alzheimer's and dementia, cancer, hospice, C Diff. I like to have a good and close relationship with my client's families and work together with them. I can provide letters of recommendation if they are needed.

I'm a patient person and very understanding, I love helping ppl that's one reason I chose this type of work, it's very self rewarding, what I enjoy the most about being a care giver is helping ppl with the most patience and affection,personal achievement I'm most proud of is sharing my time with the patient and making her feel like there's someone that cares about her and is there for her in whatever she needs.

I have been a caregiver 18 years and completely love my job. I have worked in a few facilities as a(cna) but I love to provide care in home working one on one with my client. I take pride in going that extra mile to make my client and there family happy. I have a very flexible schedule which opens me to varies shifts . I'm filled with great joy when taking care of others, we can never imagine what life may bring or when we may need to be cared for ourselves. As a person I am very loving,dependable, carrying,and compassionate about my job and the people I work for. I've been working in this field for 8+ years 2 years with dementia and Alzheimer. I want to make sure my client is happy, satisfied with me and with my job towards the individual; I also can be trusted in anyway, shape, or form. I care alot about what i do because I want to be a good role model toward people around me and toward my kids. I like to make other people smile and enjoy their days with an open mind and positive ,attitude, and thoughts. I also enjoy getting to know other peoples trait in their own and special way cause I know each of us, as human beings are different in every way. What I've accomplished in this work is, I can offer my loving attention towards other people, by making them happy in everyway or so eventhough they are struggling or need people in their lives to lift them up and never give up on everything. I want them to know, there are people out there who care and love about them no matter what the situation is.
