I am compassionate and empathetic, genuinely caring for my fellow man. I am a good listener who pays attention to detail, and I pride myself on being self-sufficient. I have completed training in various courses through The Public Authority of Santa Clara County, including topics such as the last phases of life, mental health, nutrition, personal care, pre-paramedical studies, Alzheimer's and dementia basics, first aid, diabetes, and CPR, among others. As the oldest and only girl among four siblings, I inherited the role of caregiver at a very young age. I started as a babysitter and later moved into adult care. I have remained a caregiver because I enjoy meeting people from all walks of life and different parts of the world. Each person is unique, and their shared experiences often come with valuable knowledge and lessons. For me, there is no greater satisfaction than going home at the end of my workday, knowing that my presence made a difference in someone else's day and that I am appreciated.

I became I caregiver because I enjoy giving my time to people that need it and enjoy there company. Being a caregiver for 15 years has helped me in so many ways, I have worked in Sarah Care Elderly Daycare with Alzheimer's and dementia, in private homes with diabetes, hypertension, stroke, etc... I love what I do because taking care of clients who need my help, gives me joy in my heart. I enjoy having the opportunity to impact clients lives and make a difference.
