I am a responsible, reliable and compassionate caregiver with years of experience in geriatric care within private homes and assisted living communities. I am recognized for my ability to provide emotional and physical support to clients. I have exceptional communication abilities as well as cultural sensitivity to deal with a diverse range of people. The reward of being a caregiver is priceless and my passion of caring for others comes from experience. One of my fondest memories is being in the kitchen with my Aunt, we love to cook together. It was everything I looked forward to after a long day at school or work. Then her symptoms of arthritis worsened and she was no longer able to do what she loved on her own. Helping my Aunt and others like her that are going through their process is the reason I am a caregiver today. It allows me to care for others in the same way I would want my family members to be treated.

I been caregiver since 2011 till I got the certificate as a Certified nursing assistant to medical assistant now on going to vocational nursing assistant. It's my passion to take care elderly because I feel it they are my family as my grandmother. I became a caregiver because I have a passion with providing care to those individuals who need assistant with staying in the comfort of their home safely. After, discovering I really enjoyed the kind of work that I do I went back to school and pursued my CNA/HHA and Acute Care license. I have five years of experience as a PCA, My first encounter was taking care of a stroke client. 1. I became a caregiver through the inspiration of my late mother. She was in a vegetative state for almost 2 yrs. due to massive stroke. Reinvented myself from working in the corporate world (banking) to moving in the healthcare field. It's a different experience where one found joy and accomplishment working with the elderly.
