To be a caregiver is all I've ever wanted to do, I feel like I was born to be a caregiver. And I really love to communicate with elders. I can learn more life experience from them. Also I will be happy when I have the ability to bring some comfort to the elderly, that's so wonderful to see the smile on their face.

I grew up helping seniors I knew and have always loved doing so. I love being needed and feeling like I am making their life better, happier, healthier. My 40 plus years as a licensed Hairstylist has given me alot of people skills. I am an empathic soul and have compassion for people hurting or needing help. As I know, illness and aging is apart of life, if I can help to bring a caring, and comforting helping hand, I feel I'm doing something that is meaningfull.That brings me joy. I know GOD is using me in a beautiful way. I do my best to follow instructions given and make sure my clients needs are met. I stay focused on the job I'm doing. I'm adaptable . A personal achievement I am proud of is how I strive to continue to heal from adversity, grow personally and strive to accomplish the goals I set for myself. What made me want to become a caregiver was one of my own aunts got stage 4 cancer and I then put myself in trade school for CNA so I could learn how to care for her . I enjoy all the different personalities and people I get to meet while providing care ... one achievement I'm proud of is making it 2 years in memory care as well as picking up skills in medtech

Everyone has a story. I like helping people and found working as a 'Home Care Aid' very fulfilling. Several years ago, my first client was a woman in hospice and I filled in so the family could get some rest. As I sat beside the lady, I looked around the room and saw pictures of her as a young woman on her wedding day, as a young mother and later as a grandmother. Her cook book was there with all kinds of personal notes etc. and just think I was so lucky to have been able to be there with her for that short time. Most of my clients I have been able to help with errands, transportation, meals, assisting with bathing and companionship. I value the time I have spent with the new friends I have made - short term and long term.

I love being a caregiver and honoring my seniors, and giving service to those who need it. I'm genuine and, would treat your family member as if they were my family. What I love most about being a caregiver is that everday I get to make difference in the lives of our seniors. Serving my clients gives me a sense of purpose. I love working and helping those in need it's truly the most fufilling job I ever had!

I'm a very well rounded healthcare provider for 24 years now. Most of my experience has been within a post acute rehabilitation hospital working as a CNA. My background is within many different areas of care from adolescents to the elder population. From basic companion care to medically complex. Assisting individuals with different ailments and disabilities, mental health, spinal rehabilitation quadriplegia/paraplegia, spinal decompression, dementia/alzheimer's, hospice care to name a few. I chose in home care apose to the hospital environment because home health gives an individual the peace of mind to go at their own pace comfortably and to heal peacefully at the comfort of their own home. I am a great caregiver because I treat my client with respects and I don't treat them as little kids. I have respect to those who are around me. My expertise is to assist those who can't walk or in needed of help. I wanted to become a caregiver to help senior or anyone that needs my help. I enjoy being a caregiver as one day I will be in that stage and it always good to help those that can't able to care for themselves. I enjoying being a caregiver.
