Hi my name is Debra and I have been a caregiver for 9 years. And the reason why I continue this career is I love helping people and to see their condition improve. Especially working with the Geriatric. I love to hear their life stories. And I care about these patients. Also, their families know they can trust me with a family member. My personal achievement: I am most proud of is when my assignment is completed we are sad to part and I know have done a good job and to also, receive a great letter of recommendation. Infact I have a couple of letters from past clients. My personalijty traits: I am easy going and I prefer to cater to my client and to make sure they have all that they need while I am on duty with them. I love the medical field and helping others in need. I got involved in care giving over 25 years ago while working for an Oncologist and seeing how families struggled to meet home health needs that some insurances didn't cover. I have experience being hands on in home and also at a care facility. I am also working volunteer for American Red Cross and registered with the state which means I have been back ground checked. I have experience working with memory care and hospice. My goal is to deliver superior service, dependability and compassion for those in need. It is my mission to bring a special energy and positive attitude to each relationship I am blessed to be a part of.I want to provide peace of mind and trust to the family and friends that their loved one is receiving the love and dignity they deserve. My greatest achievement has been caring for my own father this last year who passed from stage 4 pancreatic cancer. he was on hospice and we were able to keep him at home. Hello my name is Kimberly, I've been a caregiver for 5 years. I became a caregiver due to my father having heart failure. Ever since that it made me realize that I wanted to help other people. What I enjoy most of being a caregiver is that I like making my patients happy and giving them company. That's on of the most important thing to me to make them feel comfortable and happy.

I became a care giver because it is rewarding to help others with life, such as getting dressed, cooking, cleaning, driving them to their appointments and keeping the patient safe, and comfortable in their own homes. I enjoy making the patients happy and seeing the look on their faces when they are happy. I am a people pleaser. I became interested in care giving when my God-son became handicapped and I experienced it first hand, you don't really understand the little things that are a struggle such as incontinence, to eating that can be a struggle and it can be hard for people to ask for help because they might feel like a burden, I don't want them to have that feeling I love helping the patients so it is my pleasure to help. I am also a medical assistant so I can administer medication and impliment the medical aspect of treatment.
