I first decided to be a caregiver after helping my parents care for my grandparents and then myself caring for my uncle and mother. I absolutely love what I do! I became a caregiver for my great grandmother who needed home care 17 years ago. I love caring for others. I am proud to have my Psych Tech Level 3, Medical Assistant, CNA, CPI and CPR certifications. I have specialized in Dementia care for over 6 years. I work a full time medical job, however, I still dedicate my days off to working with a few select families who need, assistance, advice, and support, when caring for a loved one at home.

I live in San Bruno.. I currently have been hired to work as a live in Friday- Tuesday every other week for a patient with Dementia in San Mateo. Hello, Firt of all i am glad to work with elderly people, nowing that i can be a help to them makes me happy. The reason why i decided to become a caregiver is because my grandpa is really sick and well i saw him struggling with his life by himself and i started helping him out and he liked to have my company. Once he told me their is no point in living at my age, and got me thinking.... I want to help him out. Now he likes me being around him and every elderly person i have taken care of were glad with my job. So that being said, i really like working and being around with elderly people. I learn new stuff with them.

I ve been a caregiver since i was 12 years old taking care of my uncle who had diabetes 2 and wheelchair bond and my uncle had demetia. I also help my great aunt cook and clean her open wounds to working as a medical assistant and then becoming a CNA and working in an assisted living at a lock down demetia unit with a total of 20 residents. Also ive done caregiving for a company called visiting angels and i was hired on as a caregiver then made my way up to training new hires .
