Caregiver, Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) I started working as caregiver since I was 13 in 1976 when my step great, great grandmother was very sick and moved in to our house bedridden-patient. I did everything for her: feeding, cleaning up all kinds of messes, bed baths, sponge baths, undressing, dressing, grooming, transfers with assistance since she's very overweight, showing kindness, patience, empathy, compassion, genuine love and care, respect and dignity. Then, I was taking care of my grandparents; then, my father who was diagnosed with CML until he died on 2002; I was taking care some relatives and friends.
