When I was a teenager, my grandmother needed extra care and my mother didn't always have time to do everything necessary, so I stepped in and shared in the care of my grandmother. She always told me that I would make a great care giver and that I could bring joy to alot of people due to my compassionate personality. Also, when my late husband had Leukemia, I cared for him in all facets of the care, including bathing, feeding, helping in the bathroom, etc., until he died 2 years ago. I also cared for my best friend, til she died from heart failure a few years ago. I believe that these experiences have solidified my ability and desire to help others, even if it is simply in the capacity of companion. **About my fee; my fee ranges any where between 13.00 per hour to 15.00 per hour depending on the case, the work involved and the time of day. For over nites and live-ins, I am willing to quote a flat fee to save you money.

I became a caregiver because my Uncle needed someone to help with all of his needs due to his age. I found it very rewarding to help him as well as others in the community. I too will be in need of a caregiver one day. What I like about being a caregiver is the appreciation I get from the elderly in need. After receiving my bachelors degree in psychology I am able to use what I have learned in a volunteer position with people who needed help with the grieving process. First of all, I want to say that hope every one is doing fine despite of the pandemic that's going on right now.I was a CNA and CHHA for about 20 years,then join the regestry ,until my friend recommended me to her client. I became a private Caregiver. I enjoy being a Caregiver for the reason that i love helping and taking care of Elderly and people with disabilities. My personal achievement is my self, because I always have a positive attitude, I'm helpful and always treat my clients and co-workers equally. I treat my clients as a family, that is maybe one of the reason why they love me too. I'm a single mom of 4,Being honest, trustworthy,reliable, dependable and always on time is the best weapon i have in life.I always make it sure when i leave my work everything is neat,clean,and tidy. I always make it sure too,that my clients are safe and happy about my service. I'm happy when my clients are happy when I'm around them.

I starting caring for my mother who suffered from Thyroid Cancer at my early age of 14 years old, I found that I could assist her with ease with any type of care that she needed and I was proud to help, I later married a women that had a horrible accident and suffered from a broken spine, this was 15 years ago and I still care for her today. I like that it comes natural for me to help. I am an Inventor and do product development on any spare time. I am a grateful person in life and feel caring / helping someone else is the least I can do to give back in different ways.

I am a great caregiver because I enjoy working with the senior, I have compassion, caring and love caring for the elderly. I became a caregiver because I have a stepfather who was in the war an at times I had to take care of him I loved listening to his stories even if he repeated most of them. I also have a nephew who is autistic an I took care of him most of his life too.
