I became a nursing assistant back in 1982 and acquired my Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license at the convalescent hospital where I worked. I then went on to work for several home care agencies and acquired my Certified Home HeaIth Aide (CHHA) license. I have worked as an independent contractor caregiver for years. There's afew that was successful in their Pist Surgery recovery in a short time due to consistent determination in the healing process through physical therapy prescribed by their Doctors and following their Care Plan. It gives me great joy as a caregiver to see the joy and the appreciation in clients and families when they have progressed well in their health and particularly in cases where the clients live alone and I am there that they can depend on in their everyday activities and their overall health and well-being. I've had challenges in combative and Demetia clients whom eventually managed to calm them down and eventually become restrain free in their movements. These takes a lot of patients and high level of tolerance attributes in which I am proud of to achieve a high level of care.
