Love working with elderly people giving my time to helping others get the best quality of life. Working with the elderly is like walking through a chapter in history. I wanted to make a difference in elderly lives.

I have been a caregiver since 2010, and a CNA since the beginning of 2018. I am currently registered with IHSS and have certifications for First Aid, CPR and AED. I enjoy caring for others and the one on one connection that comes with private clientele. I enroll in college for nursing in January.

Caregiving is very rewarding and it's a good feeling knowing that your enriching the lives of individuals who need extra help in their daily routine. I am patient and punctual. Caregiving has been a passion of mine for far as I can remember. It started when I lived with my grandparents. I saw how they were treated by family, friends and caregivers and it made me want to help others and give what others deserve in their final stages of life. Something that I wish to fulfill in my life time would be to help as many people as I can, and to give part of my heart to as many people possible who would appreciate the care. If I could help an individual and their family in their time of need while giving them comfort would fulfill my dreams. I believe I have an abundance of love to give and I feel like it is why I was put on this planet. I have had some experience, but not as much as I would like. For the past couple of years I have been going to school for nursing and feel like it's suitable for my life again. Until then I would like to start working on some of my dreams-caregiving. One last thing that I do feel I should mention is that it is important for the patient to feel like I would be suitable for them, and for them to feel like it's a good fit, but for me to as well. This is important because the patient should always be happy and satisfied, but also when the caregiver is happy to be paired with the patient they can give the best possible care.

I'm 19 years old. I live in Placerville, CA. I have a year of caregiving experience. I love my job and I treat my residents as I would my own family. Their needs always come first.
