I'm a very kind personality and down to earth, have soft voices and loving person, I'started taking care my parent for 10 yrs around 2000 until they both passed in2010 then i decided to reach out to other elderly and families who need help with their parents and loved one.

Why a caregiver it has always been in the family the nourishment and ability to help each other. I enjoy how my clients share their life history it means we have bonded in a personal way he or she is willing to give information that is usually meant for their family. Personal achievement to be proud of there are many I am proud of overcome any difficulties life put on our path. Life is a rollercoaster we all have difficulties that is the ride going up, we have our scary moments those are the turns/twists on a ride and the fun is the flat area toward the end when everything seems to be going our way.

I've been a caregiver all my life. I grew up with my grandmother since I was a little girl. I have learned to be patient and understanding when caring for my clients. The greatest reward I've experienced being a caregiver is always making my clients satisfied of my service, and they look forward to seeing me again.

I became a caregiver because I have a passion with providing care to those individuals who need assistant with staying in the comfort of their home safely. I enjoy being apart of a team who promote clients to reach their highest level of independence. After, discovering I really enjoyed the kind of work that I do I went back to school and pursued my CNA/HHA and Acute Care license. I have five years of experience as a PCA, My first encounter was taking care of a stroke client. I'm independent, empathetic, trustworthy, reliable and really committed with the job I've been called to do. I'm currently a Geriatric Aide and working for the Center for Elder's Independence as well.

I am from the island so I grew up caring for my grandparents and younger siblings. So it's what I have been doing and use to doing now that I am an adult I do still help to care for my parents grandparents and also my own kids it's in me I do have patience and I love caring for anyone that needs the help just makes me feel good knowing they need my help. I started working caregiver when my mom and aunties would need a reliver someone to cover for there private caregiver jobs so I would fill in for hours or a day or even live in for few days as we all know it's a hard thing to do dedicating ur time and help when u have ur own families so it does take a village like they say u can't do it alone. Than I got my own private caregiver job I started working only weekends live this client had a colostomy bag also dementia and Alzheimer's so she really need the care around the clock I would help with her meals medication reminders also driving her to appointments and doing groceries for her and light house keeping I worked for this one client for 14 years straight it went from only weekends adding the week nights to the whole 24 hour 7 days a week. I would get my mom and cousins to relieve me when I would go on vacation or have time off but I was the main caregiver. I do still keep in contact with the family for reference cause it's hard to find private caregiver jobs.

Im a hard working person and I can learn new responsibility a bit faster. I have a lot of patience in handling clients.

Hello, I have 13 plus yrs. of experience as a primer caregiver to my late husband who was disabled with a massive stroke. I am a compassionate, family oriented person and have expertise in caregiving to those in need from being my late husband's caregiver for more than a decade. Taking care of my husband and the influence of my spirituality motivated me to pursue caregiving as a profession. I enjoy being a trusted, empathetic companionship to someone seeking care as seeking care can be lonely and vulnerable. I like to bring light to their world when it may seem like they don't have it. It's very rewarding for me to know that I did something to bring the people I care for joy and good energy. And seeing them laugh and smile makes me smile. Proud of the fact that years later, I still get calls from clients family members requesting my services for other family members or friends, or just to say hello. For my services, rates are as follow: $50.00 per hour Note: If driving for more than 30 minutes, add $5 to hourly rate. If crossing bridges, add $10 to hourly rate. If weekends are requested, add $ 10 to hourly rate. If requested for driving clients to appointments, add $10 to hourly rate.
