1. I became a caregiver through the inspiration of my late mother. She was in a vegetative state for almost 2 yrs. due to massive stroke. Reinvented myself from working in the corporate world (banking) to moving in the healthcare field. It's a different experience where one found joy and accomplishment working with the elderly. My salary rate is negotiable depending on client's needs. 2. Being a caregiver is very personal to me.. My focus is always to deal with the well-being & safety of my client. 3. Being a caregiver entails a lot of patience, compassion and experience to be able to understand every client's specific needs. . I try to keep a balance of everything I do to maintain my physical and psychological well-being. 4. I consider myself as energetic, strong-willed and resourceful. In my former job I was the lead CNA supervising 3 caregivers working 12 hrs. shift 24/7 in our client's own home. My relationship with my client & the family I've worked with has been very pleasant. Blessed to work with families that trust my work ethics and the care I provide for their loved ones.
I became a cna because my great grandma who raised me became a diabetic and had to have both of her legs amputated. I was around 11or 12. She learned how to walk with new prostetics and her walker. Also I had to administer her insulin at times. She passed shortly after I turned 18. I dedicated my life to her.

I became a caregiver because the profession I wanted to become is to be a nurse. I am a great caregiver because I am a compassionate and kind person. I give my more than 100 % excellent care with my clients and they can feel my sincerity and warmth caring for them. Their family have assurance that their loved one's are in good hands when they leave. Working in a hospital setting with different culture diversity, I have learned to know what they need and respect their culture. The patients that I have taken care of loved me for they know that once I am on duty they know that they would be happy and satisfied with their care. I learned how to handle different temperament of elderlies, some are difficult but with good communication skills and explaining to them that the care I am giving them is for their own good and to get a positive result. Being recognized and commended by my co-workers, superiors and families of my patients of how great I worked is rewarding that motivates me more to deliver excellence of what I do. I was awarded as employee of the month in our unit. I am a very caring person and can easily get along with co-workers, patients and their families. Hardworking individual and can get the task done in a timely manner with positive result. Positive attitude and excellent communication skills, very good in following instructions and delivers excellent service.

hello! I was a certified nursing assistant for 6 years and then I wanted to switch to one on one care. I've been caring for a woman in her home for 2 years now and it's definitely where I needed to be! I love being that support and friend that she needs and I can't wait to experience more of that! Caring for elderly is a passion of mine, and between working at a nursing facility and in private care, I feel that being home is the best option for them. I pride myself on giving the best care that I can, so they can be home as long as possible and have a high quality of life. That's the best place for them to be and I love being a part of allowing that to happen [?]
I am native to San Jose, I am a 3rd generation born in San Jose. I have been in the medical field for 38yrs. 25 yrs just doing home care. Caring for the elderly and being an advocate for them has been in my heart for many years. I have enjoyed working with them and have been blessed to share many of their journeys. I have encountered hundreds of elderly over the years, and have learned much from them. As the years pass, I will continue to serve those who are sick, elderly, or are coming to an end of their own journey. All though I prefer a live-in position, I am also available for hourly work at this time, with a 6 to 8 hr. minimum a day. If you have any additional questions for me, please feel free to ask.
Hi,my name is Linna and I have been privileged to provide care for the elderly for 27 years.I started this humbling journey as a CNA in medical facility and have been able to branch out into other work environments.I have worked in medical facilities, hospitals, with agencies, and with families. This allowed me to gain various skills and gain a board perspective in care-giving situation and settings.I was able to learn, gain, and provide skills in alzheimer care, skilled living, mental health, assistant living, and private care duty.the most rewarding position is when I am to provide private care. I believe private care giving helps facilitate a one-on-one relationship, personally and professional, and I am able to utilize and mold my skills specifically to my client's need. this, I believe, provides the most optimal care for the client and their family,as much as experience and skills are important.the greatest factor in being a great care giver is providing patience, understanding, dedication, and compassion to their client and family.I believe finding the right caregiver for you or you love one is significant and I hope we can be a good fit. CNA certified.

Being able to assist somebody gives me great satisfaction. I have been working as a certified NURSING assistant for 9 years, in a skilled NURSING facility. Working with charge nurses and other health team members ,helped me to improve and acquire skills needed to assist residents with their activities of daily living.
I became a caregiver because I know how important it is to anybody (especially seniors) to get help with love, compassion and trust included. Anyone who I'm taking care of isn't "just a client". I look at my job as an opportunity to show my clients that they are loved, very important, even precious because they really are. I provide non-medical services as companionship, caregiving ( personal hygiene, assistance with bathing), cooking, light housekeeping, running errands (grocery shopping, appointments). And I feel it's worthy to make life of someone who would think sometime "nobody needs me anymore just because I'm old" happy life, full of joy and if they want: fun too! I'm single , my son is 19, he doesn't live with me anymore(he is a college student). I've graduated from college ( CNA program) this year and became licensed CNA. I'm working in Retirement community as CNA and looking to get some more hours to work with clients around Saratoga/ Los Gatos/ San Jose area. I've got a great experience helping clients with Dementia, it's very rewarding to see a positive influence at someone's life . To care wholeheartedly is my priority. Can't wait to hear from you:)
