Hi my name is Linda Oliver and I live in woodland and I'm mom of 2 grown boys. And a foster mom of a 19 year old girl and a grandmother of 2. I have been a caregiver for over 35 years. I also have done childcare and I look forward to working with you.

I have always wanted to be a caregiver. Back home in Ghana, it was a dream and a reality of mine. I took care of my beloved grandparents at a young age and enjoyed doing it. I loved working and taking care of them and cherished all the life and cooking tips from them. I strongly believed it was what I was meant to do. When God allowed me to move to America, a family friend explained to me that I could take care of other people's grandparents. Ever since I have worked hard to satisfy the families and most importantly the elderly I've worked for.

In order to be a good caregiver you have to love people first and you have to love what you do as far as I can remember I've always wanted to make a difference in someone's life by assisting them with the everyday tasks of life not knowing somewhere in the future I would have a child with a disability which would demand all of my time care and love so that's where my journey begin I was a caregiver for my own child who had extreme cerebral palsy and autism until he was 26 years old during that time I developed skills and a mindset to be able to carry on after he was placed into a home with those same set of principles care and skills necessary to be a good caregiver because practice it everyday with my own child in addition to that before giving birth to him I had already under my belt 5 years of experience dealing with disabled adults in a skilled nursing home I have over 25 years of experience dealing with disabled and geriatric clients my experience extends from bedside care tending to daily needs and assisting even hospice within that time. I am dedicated and committed to give the best care possible moving forward
