I have been doing in home care, facility care. For about 15 yrs. I can connect well with others. Compassionate about my clients needs and wants. Building trust and friendship is important to me. I am a responsible and dependable caregiver. My experience around elderly and in Assisted Livings has given me understanding and compassion for residents in any type of limitation that they are experiencing. I am patient, respectful, hardworking, and passionate about caregiving. What attracted me to being a caregiver was my mother. She used to be a caregiver and would take me to work every week since I was 5 so you could say I grew up in an assisted living surrounded by elderly. As a result, I've been exposed to a variety of different elderly residents with a vast range of limitations including dementia, Alzheimer's, schizophrenia, blindness, deafness, diabetes, and residents that are independent. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is learning from the residents. Each one of them is so unique, and each one of them communicates differently, sometimes because of their disabilities or limitations, but they all have a story and a lesson to pass on to others.

Being a Caregiving is an extremely rewarding job. As a Caregivers I take care of our elders, the people who have given so much to this world. Taking care of people is something I'm very proud of. ... Some residents become lonely or sad, but being a great caregiver helpsthem change there mood for the better. What I enjoy most about caregiving is getting to help other people in there time of need.

Hello, I am a very loving & caring person. I have a son that has Adhd & one of my twins suffered a stroke in utero & has autism. My passion to work as a care giver is to give back to the community. My son has some great people working with him & I just want to give back. I am proud that we put our son in ABA & it has helped him a lot. I have also worked with kids with special needs. I've worked in a school setting. I am also working as a program supervisor currently. I have worked with a couple patients with carelinx.
