I have been in the medical field since 1999. I have worked in Homecare, Rehab, Hospital and Office settings. I have specialized in Memory Care, Rehabilitation, Spinal cord injuries and Early Childhood Education. I especially enjoy Homecare settings where I can delivery optimal and comfortable care, companionship and assistance to those whom require/ desire these services. Along with my HHA certification, previous CNA license/ experience I have current BLS, and Drivers License and dependable transportation. I believe everyone has a right to high quality care, and it brings me great joy to provide it.

I am a current sophomore nursing student with a heart and passion to care for those in need. I love to bring others joy and comfort through the small things in life. Caregiving gives me the opportunity to uplift those who need help. I come from a long line of caregivers--my grandfather a cardiologist, my grandmother a home care coordinator, my mother a labor and delivery nurse, and my father a psychologist--so this peaked my interest for patient care. I have worked as a caretaker for Interim Healthcare and Amada Senior Care during my breaks in schooling. I started my medical journey during my senior year of highschool where I obtained my Emergency Medical Technician certification. My passion for the medical field is continuing to grow as I attend nursing school.

I am a responsible and dependable caregiver. My experience around elderly and in Assisted Livings has given me understanding and compassion for residents in any type of limitation that they are experiencing. I am patient, respectful, hardworking, and passionate about caregiving. What attracted me to being a caregiver was my mother. She used to be a caregiver and would take me to work every week since I was 5 so you could say I grew up in an assisted living surrounded by elderly. As a result, I've been exposed to a variety of different elderly residents with a vast range of limitations including dementia, Alzheimer's, schizophrenia, blindness, deafness, diabetes, and residents that are independent. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is learning from the residents. Each one of them is so unique, and each one of them communicates differently, sometimes because of their disabilities or limitations, but they all have a story and a lesson to pass on to others.

I have several years of being a caregiver, I also love taking care of people. I have a big heart and a lot of compassion for people. I very much enjoy making someone happy and feel special. Being a caregiver helps me fulfill the need to help and take care of people.

I believe that all individuals deserve the highest quality of life, no matter what stage of life they may be in. It is my passion and my mission to make that possible for those who require assistance with everyday tasks as well as, specialized care. It is also my belief that, while I may be experienced in this field, there is always something more to learn, best done by building a genuine connection, with a foundation of compassion and a desire to learn together.
