I would have to say when I was younger I worked in a convalescent home with my aunt. It was one of my first jobs. This lady named Charlotte we so enjoyed each other's company. She had a sweet tooth, loved choc. eclairs, as I do.. We used to talk and laugh and she really left a mark on my heart. I felt such a happy feeling to be with her, as she did with me. I am a hard worker I am dedicated. I also worked with a woman whom fell down the stairs backwards and was paralyzed, she was a professor in the city helping city kids who did not have much. I learned so much from that woman, I believe I needed her more than she needed me. We would prepare supper and clean her house do errands go to park, Dr. appointments It was a very nice relationship. I'd have to say I'm proud of the work I did and what kinds of morals they taught me about life. How time is priceless. What makes me a great caregiver, I am very attentive, reliable caring person. Putting their welfare first. Making them happy. I have a good sense of humor and desire to work with them. I have medical office experience as well as the beginning of my experience and story.

I have had my CNA since 2007. I have worked in the health care field every since. I have experience in many types of settings from hospice care, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and 8 years of home care experience. I highly promote education. I'm always looking for opportunities to learn more and update my skills and knowledge as the years go by and resources change. I also am CPR certified and infection control and barrier certified. At the moment I am currently wrapping up my Phlebotomy and EKG course. I will be testing in the next month for those two courses. I am also a nursing student part-time. I assure the highest level of quality and safety during each consumer encounter. I am always in compliance with regulatory requirements set. I am dedicated to giving exceptional care. I pride myself at helping to achieve goals of the consumer and families. Home-care takes more than just a caring person and it's not just all about ADL's emotional and psychological support too.
