Health Caregiver / CNA Inspired by taking care of my parents at home until they passed . My mother passed 6 years ago and recently my father .2 years after losing my mother. I have a great personality especially around the elderly !My passion is helping others in there daily routines in order for them to be independent in there own surroundings to feel safe in there own home is part of there wellness. I enjoy cooking for others Our roles in being a caregiver is to help others and the family members knowing that there loved ones are been cared for .I am someone who has a very passionate heart . I treat others as Iike my own family it's not just a job it's my passion and my loyalty to care . I am compassionate of there feelings and enjoy listening to there stories no matter how many times they tell the same thing it's very rememberable to them .I have a lot of experience in Dementia and Parkinson's disease patients.I do well in trying to keep there daily routine it's very important I feel for it to not change because it's what there use too.

I started in the medical field at the age of 16, because Iknew that that was what i wanted to do. I continued on when I went to the air force working with my fellow soldiers, when I came back home I have worked in Drs office , and ultimately working for elderly and Hospice. It is very fulfilling to know that I can make a difference and put a smile on someones face just by being there. Helping people is my PASSION

Love working in health care industry. Helping peaople. Took care of my father in law with Alzheimer and my mother in law with dementia. Currently working in home care as CNA. I am an RN from Slovakia. However never got my license because of the language barrier and also having my children. Beside nursing I'm very busy soccer mom as well.

I am inclined to the service to others and I like professions where I have the possibility of interacting with others, I am a migrant I come from Argentina, I chose this profession because I consider it very humanistic and it gives me the opportunity to accompany and help in difficult moments, It is also a profession that teaches you to be humble and value life, to help anyone to maintain their dignity and self-esteem is something great for me. I have my criminal record card ready. I speak Spanish, Italian and my English is basic but I have no problems communicating. I Don't have a very positive and optimistic personality. My name is shorter then my be nickname; while is, Joyful (a high school friend gave me that name. So, yes... LOL, I'm very Joyful with a smile on my face). I was blessed to be a stay-at-home mother of three for 15 years, and then started getting back into the workforce. Family is the most important thing to me and love hanging out with family. I dance since the age of three years old, all the way up until I had my first two children, and I was an assistant dance instructor for about 10+ years. Back in 2009 to 2010 I worked as a water therapy assistant and water exercise instructor in Indianapolis, IN. I love to swim, go on walks/hikes, horseback riding, ride bikes, tennis, volleyball, travel, and many other things as well. I love to helping others, great multi-tasked, and have great problem solving skills. I am a very creative person and I am a visual artist as well (I'm able to draw anything I see)... so, I have a creative eye, love working on arts and crafts, puzzles, games, photography, interior decorating, and love working with pretty much all different kinds of mediums. I've been a HHA/CNA (with CPR training and Blood-borne Pathogens that I acquired during my HHA Diploma classes with A-1 Academy) for a few years now, and I have specialized with the mentally challenged and disabled as well. I also worked with AmeriCrops. right out of high school while attending college full time. I worked as a 1st and 2nd grader tutor at IPS schools, and assisted with aftercare programs, assisted with teen night every Friday night, was a Summer Counselor, and a student Dance Instructor to assist with hours for AmeriCrops. (It was Volunteer work with a one-year contract and salary position in Indianapolis, IN). I'm always a good friend, great helper with great integrity, dependable, and reliable.

I am honest, affectionate and will go beyond the call of duty to may my client happy. It gives me pleasure when my client is happy.

Since I was a child I have loved my grandmother very much and seeing her grow old and feeling how she is losing her abilities saddened me a lot. That is why I decided to be a caregiver to help all the people who need me. I am very responsible with my work I have a lot of patience and self-control to to lead with difficult diseases that arrive in old age. I feel a commitment and respect for what I do, I am happy and contagious to everyone and I make their life happier.
