Health Caregiver / CNA Inspired by taking care of my parents at home until they passed . My mother passed 6 years ago and recently my father .2 years after losing my mother. I have a great personality especially around the elderly !My passion is helping others in there daily routines in order for them to be independent in there own surroundings to feel safe in there own home is part of there wellness. I enjoy cooking for others Our roles in being a caregiver is to help others and the family members knowing that there loved ones are been cared for .I am someone who has a very passionate heart . I am an RN from Slovakia. However never got my license because of the language barrier and also having my children. Beside nursing I'm very busy soccer mom as well.

I became a caregiver around 1979, always felt needed wanting to help the elderly people of all kinds. I enjoy being around people when it comes to helping the sick. I will be their for them if needed. You have to be patient understanding caring know their needs and provide lots of TLC. I took care of a elderly for 14 years, she was in a wheel chair when I met her. also a heavy drinker. Within that 14years of my caring for her I was able to help her family and the client to make a decision for the client to under go knee surgery. She was able to walk for 6 years which was joyful time for her. Few more years after that she was able to give up drinking with a little of my help. I was very happy to see this achievement. The family was proud to see this accomplishment and thank me for my assistance. This made me feel so happy and wonderful that I was able to be their for them. I am a understanding and caring person when I can help someone that needs my services I will be their. I also enjoy traveling being around my grandchildren, love my church, I love to keep up with my landscape, enjoy exercising, and focus on my health.

Hello! My name is Alyson. I first became a care giver, before I even got my license, when I was 15. I worked for the park district, working with families and then babysitting children. I even worked as a nanny for a few families. I also cared for children and adults that are physically or mentally disabled. I have cared for elderly people as well. I have cared for clients who needed a little help with cooking and cleaning to hands on care for those who had Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and Dementia. I have also house and pet sat for multiple families. I am a very caring, sweet, patient person. Being a caregiver is a great fit for me because I enjoy helping people and listening to their stories.
