I became a caregiver because I believe everyone should be treated equally with respect and I care a lot about people being a caregiver is a big responsibility is treating the other person like you expect others to treat you, treating them like a human not like a number. I am proud of myself because i have deferent certifications like medical assistant and respiratory therapy so i am not only a caregiver but much more then that. i am a motivated person ready to better myself and people around me.

I am an energetic fun loving person I have always had a passion For the elderly and those with special needs. I have life long experience with special needs as I have a sister who is severely mentally impaired. I have worked in home health for almost 2 years now and adore my clients. I am a certified Home health aide. I treat each client as if they were my own grandparent. I give them the love care and respect that they deserve. My long time client is moving out of state so I am seeking a new client to live and care for.

I changed careers. I love helping and making people smile who are sick. I take care of a man with Parkinson's and dementia, bath him in bed, use hoyer lift to get him out of bed, oral care. Make meals for him and hand feed him. I am married and have no children just a four legged furbaby

Sine I was a little girl I knew that I wanted to be apart of the Nursing field, mainly caring for the elderly who can longer care for themselves. My great grandmother had Alzheimer's and was put into a Nursing home when I was a little girl and from that day forward I grew that interest into this field. I love the elderly, I want to be one of those special people who make a difference in their lives and their families lives caring for them in the ways that they can longer care for themselves nor their loved ones.

I currently just moved from NY and feel I'm meant to help people better them selves. I've been a caregiver for 5 yrs and have loved every moment of it! My proudest moment is knowing I'm helping people, to help them stay independent. I just got my CNA in may.

I became a caregiver since seeing my mom die, & realized how rewarding to help the elderly. I have been a caregiver since 2013 & have enjoyed all of my clients in a very rewarding way. They all appreciate us being there since most of the time their families live in different states and can't be with them on a regular basics. My personal achievement is that I never know what will be behind the door of a person who I don't know much about until you are with them. Like I said in the beginning, I want to help the clients I am with because they wouldn't have a way to help themselves & when I leave at the end of the day it makes me happy to know I have helped someone who couldn't do it for themselves!

My name is Melissa , I worked as a caregiver and HHA for my father and uncle for years. My dad was out of the hospital due to COVID and he was on a ventilator and also needed help with everyday tasks I assisted with cleaning, cooking , feeding , bathing, clothing, and day to day. My uncle had a major seizure when he was younger and now he's disabled, I helped him with day to day as well , cleaning , cooking , taking to appointments, playing games and doing activities, bathing , and overall caring for him. He would get violent after having seizures and I had to be patient and understanding I say that because I'm very patient and understanding to all needs and necessities.
