Hi a little about me, I'm 38 and also a mother of four great big kids married as well. One of the reason why I became a senior care aid is because I'm a people person and have a great personality. I love being with are seniors just cause there old does not mean they cant do the same as us. I have a few years of senior care on the side i cared for my grand parents and my husbands senior parents as well they no longer are with us but hold them in my heart. I and certified and have 75 hours as well as other certifications with me if need. If you hire me i care for ur seniors as they are my own family. I do light housekeeping, bathing , help dressing , errands, doctor appointments and many other needs as well .. I'm currently have a patient in the morning from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 3 pm in north miami my last day will be in mid April. I can also help on weekends on sundays all day and saturdays from 4 pm till 10 pm.

I'm very proud of being associated with the Red Cross during Katrina. I was assigned to New Orleans as part of the berevment team but ended up being a government Liason officer determining locations of supplies, gift cards and medical assistance. I had decided working in the mental health field had come to a end after many years. Upon my return from Louisiana a psychiatrist called and asked if I would go and assess a client of his brother. I did, it was decided to have her return home. The executor of the estate asked if I would be her companion. I believe it was then that God put careing for people on my heart. It's important to me to provide quality of life, kindness. I have a out going personality, humor, zest for life. I'm a team player, respond quickly to emergencies and have great communication skills.

One of my personality traits of me being a great caregiver is I'm outgoing and easy to get along with, honest and loyal. I got attracted to being a caregiver is I am helpful and really great at customer service and I'm excellent communicator. I enjoy being a caregiver and I feel rewarded to assist and help all those that I can. I take pride in my work as a caregiver while I'm caring for an individual this gives me compassion and care while giving the client dignity, and this helps me to follow my dreams to help others.
