Some personality traits that make me a great caregiver are my abilities to communicate well with the people I am taking care of and to ensure I am doing my best in taking care of the person. Additionally, I work hard to be patient as a caregiver so that the interactions I have with the persons go smoothly. I also try my best to empathize with the people I am taking care of in that way I make them feel welcome and appreciated, I also try my best to pay attention to little details in case a problems occurs I can identify it ahead of time and communicate with other people to try and resolve the problem. What attracted me to becoming a caregiver it the opportunity I would have to nurture for other people. I enjoy helping people and this was an opportunity to take care of people. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver are the conversations I can sometimes have with the people I am taking care of (if their medical situations allows). Most of the elderly are in vulnerable positions, having others take care of them, and It is important to have someone they can trust and talk to. I learn so much from the elderly and they learn about me and my cultural background, if they ask. I am a great caregiver because I actually care. I believe in treating people the way you want to be treated. I became a caregiver when my mom fell ill due to her diagnosis. I dedicated myself to care for her until she could again care for herself. I like being a caregiver because I treat my clients as if they are an extension of my family. A personal achievement I have recently accomplished was losing -15 lbs!!!!!!!!!

I believe that I stand out as a great caregiver because of the empathy , patience, understanding and care I have for my patients , and being a good listener. I was attracted to healthcare because of the need for great loving caring caregivers that would put their patients, before self , and the need to help someone less fortunate , with knowing they have someone that care about their well being, and making a difference in lives. I enjoyed being a caregiver knowing that I can put a smile on terminally or critically ill person face and helping save life on trauma patients being brought to the Emergency room.

I am very patient and kind, which is very important when I help patients in need. I believe how you treat others is how you would want to be treated in return. The elderly people in my family inspired me to be a caregiver. It encouraged me to help the patients family as much as possible with there loved ones. I am 53 and since the early age of 18 wanted to work in the medical field helping people. I have worked in different fields such as gastroenterology and dermatology, but have mostly worked internal medicine. The elderly is my specialty and have grown a great repor with all my patients. I worked the back office so I am proficient in vitals , blood, heart, handling meds(and knowing what to look out for if not taken properly). I have three grown children and three grandchildren. I left my job so I can find someone in need of me instead of being in an office all day. I am very qualified in the jupiter area being I Gre up there and know it very well. My hobbies are fishing and traveling. Most important being with my very close family.

I have always been very caring and attentive to others ever since I can remember. I love caring and taking care of others, That's why I have been in the medical field for over 25 years. I started as a Companion and now am a Medical Assistant.
