I've been in healthcare for over 20 years. I love helping others! I'm kind, patient and empathetic. I can provide most anything from companionship to help with daily living activities for you and/or your loved one.

I became a caregiver around 1979, always felt needed wanting to help the elderly people of all kinds. I enjoy being around people when it comes to helping the sick. I will be their for them if needed. You have to be patient understanding caring know their needs and provide lots of TLC. I took care of a elderly for 14 years, she was in a wheel chair when I met her. also a heavy drinker. Within that 14years of my caring for her I was able to help her family and the client to make a decision for the client to under go knee surgery. She was able to walk for 6 years which was joyful time for her. Few more years after that she was able to give up drinking with a little of my help. I was very happy to see this achievement. The family was proud to see this accomplishment and thank me for my assistance. This made me feel so happy and wonderful that I was able to be their for them. I am a understanding and caring person when I can help someone that needs my services I will be their. I also enjoy traveling being around my grandchildren, love my church, I love to keep up with my landscape, enjoy exercising, and focus on my health.

Being a caregiver is not just a job to me, it is my passion. I believe I am a wonderful caregiver, because I am compassionate, patient, friendly, and I am very efficient in completing the activities of daily living, and any housekeeping needs. My experience in caring from others comes from working at an agency named Right At Home, and privately caring for people. I am CPR certified, and had Home Health Aide training through my company. I am Joshlyn. I have been a private caretaker for several years. I have administered oral and IV medication as prescribed by an attending physician on a daily basis. I accompany clients to doctors' offices and on other trips outside the home, providing transportation, assistance and companionship. I maintained sterile fields, application of dressings to a stage 4 decubitus ulcer. I assisted patients with basic activities of daily living, including changing of bed linens, washing laundry, preparing nutritious meals and doing basic housekeeping. My love and passion is in direct patient care (one-on-one). I'm amazing in what I do.
