I have 4 years of home health and Cna experience working with dementia and alziemers patients. I am a certified medical assistant and have worked almost 2 years in the field. I am empathetic and compassionate and love the elderly. I am certified in first aid/cpr, have updated shots, and a level two background I can provide along with references. My own personal achievement is providing care to my mother during her cancer treatments for 2 years and then caring for my father after a motorcycle accident, which led me on my path of caring for others so I can provide what I hope my family receives. I have compassion and empathy especially for the elderly. I have worked in home health and nursing homes from basic care to dementia patients for 6 years. I enjoyed being a caregiver in the alziemers unit and listening to families tell the stories from the past. This was when I discovered I loved the elderly, their family, and the stories and familiarship of a patient. Our elders is why we are here today. My accomplishment is dependability and dedication to all employers. This is what would make me a great caregiver along with my love and experience with the elderly. I'm a single mom to a 5 year old, I'm COVID VACCINATED and I'm also certified in a bunch of different things.

1. I became a caregiver because after caring for my ill father who had both of his legs amputated, I began to love what I was doing and being able to help him made my day so bright, that I decided after his death I would like to help others. 2. What I like about being a care giver is being able to help someone in need. You never know how you may make a difference in someones life until you help them and be able to see the smile on their face at the end of the day. 3. A personal achievement that I'm proud of is going back to college after 10 years of no school, being a single parent I stayed focused and graduated in 2014 with honors (3.2 GPA) my associates degree in allied health. All while being a single mother. 4. I am a honest, dependable, hard working individual who is looking to advance my care in the medical field. I am a 2014 Allied Health college graduate who studied Medical Assistant. Before going back to school in 2012 I was a CNA, who enjoyed caring and helping other.

I understand the situation of feeling you still want to keep your independence and do things for yourself , I enjoy being able to help in the areas thar are needed .
