Hello, my name is Takia Hill, and I proudly provide (medical) services to those in need of care by offering a complete range of personal support and companionship services. I provide patients with one-on-one care in the privacy and comfort of their house or senior living community. I assist with day-to-day activities, including bathing, grooming, bathroom assistance, assistance with walks, gym time, and physical therapy. I also provide hands-on service with transportation and meal preparation according to patients' plans and needs. I make it a point always to allow and encourage residents to do as much on their own as possible while having the reassurance of my close supervision and encouraging words. I Provide direct and indirect patient care, Transport patients, via wheelchair or accompany ambulatory patients, and transfer and offer assistance during moving of patients into and out of wheelchairs, toilets, beds, and other equipment. I have experience with assisting patients requiring help with feeding, toileting, and all other ADL care. I am A loving, caring, and hardworking Home Health Aide with years of experience supporting and nursing elderly patients. My main focus is to connect with patients and their families personally, to gain their trust so I can make them feel safe and comfortable. While providing top-tier aid, assistance, service, encouragement, and companionship. I take this profession and these duties very seriously, thus making this more than just a job.

I thrive when surrounded by other people, and find it easy to connect with anyone I meet. Always looking for bridges , not fences. I knew since then I loved helping caring for other. I always enjoyed playing and combing my dolls hair, feeding and play cooking for them. I always look after the house keeping home cleaned and organized. I have been a Certified Home Health Aide for 20 years . I have a passion for putting others first. Seeing someone with an intellectual disability able to lead a happy, safe and fulfilling life is enough to make it all worthwhile. In essence, it’s about making small changes to your everyday life to make major beneficial changes to someone with an intellectual disability. Seeing them respond to their new environment – and the care and love that shapes it - provokes a feeling that must be experienced to be believed. And there’s simply no reward quite like watching the smile emerge and hearing their laughter. I'm a single mother of two girls so taking care of ,an helping others come natural to me.

i think im a great caregiver because i enjoy helping people in general specially those that are in need, i became a care giver simply thats my calling i enjoy doing good deed, and i chosen this job simply because it put a smile on my face everytime i land a hand on anyone that needed a helping hands, any personal achievement of mine is the joy and happiness that witness to those that land a helping hands to and the smiles on my face afterward.

I am most proud of one lady I had the pleasure of taking care of, when I first got to her she was depressed and on the verge of giving up on life but I was able to turn that around with just simply caring and just bringing joy fun and love back into her life, I took care of her for almost 2 years the family thought she wasn't going to live too much longer they even admitted her to hospice and when they hired me to care for her they could not believe how happy and healthy she had become.
