I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Debra Mullins. I have over 20yrs experience in caring for children and adults. I am a mother of six children, three grandchildren and one great grandchild. My enthusiasm and careful work habits make me an individual who is willing to care for children and adults of all ages and cultures. I also have two degrees, one in Medical Assistants and recently an Associate of Science, in Nursing; I have certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) as well as Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). My multitasking skills and critical thinking will be quite essential in the position of home health care giver and nanny. I have excellent communications skills; I’m very outgoing, and with my flexible availability, give me the willingness to be able to adjust to changes. My passion for the elderly and children are endless.

I became a caregiver to take care of my friend's mother who, was in her nineties while he traveled. When I was completing my externship for medical assisting, the doctor I worked for recognized my true calling with seniors, who always asked for me to attend them. I am pursuing my HHA certificate and am willing to take other courses to enable me to offer the best care possible. My parents are elderly and I understand the aging process first hand, wanting to ease their problems as much as possible. I graduated with high honors and perfect attendance from Medical Assisting College which I'm very proud of. I'm a very hard and good worker that learns quickly and also follows direction. I have received my certificate as a Home Health Aide and plan to complete my CNA certification.

I have 8 years of the medical field. I have worked in a nursing home for 3 years, and I have worked in the medical facility for 4 years, and I have also worked for a home care company for a year and individual for 2 years, I am experience in personal care, I have certificates in Home Health Care and a graduate diploma in Medical Assistant and also certified in CPR and First Aid. I love companionship with others and I love bringing a warmth of love in the atmosphere. Families I worked for love me and I have developed a personal relationship with each client.
