I have 25 plus years of experience working with the elderly in nursing homes, assisted living, and private homes. I am dependable and always on time. I am a people person, nurturing, caring, and giving. I love to help others especially the elderly achieve their daily goals of living a comfortable life by being able to take care of their activities of daily living. I treat my clients as family, and friends and look forward to my visits with them. I have done clerical jobs in the past but, I always come back to caregiver jobs because, it is what I enjoy, and love the most.

I am a kind spirited, patient, encouraging, and reliable person. I have always been interested in senior and disability care because there is a huge need for it and I believe that I am the right type of person to meet that need. Being a caregiver gives me such a purposeful feeling knowing I can come along side someone and aid them with the things they cannot do themselves. I worked as a CNA in a nursing facility for almost 2 years with long term and short term residents. I have worked with many types of patients with many different needs from dementia patients to quadriplegic patients. I have also volunteered at disability camps over the past couple of years.

I am attentive and responds to situations in a timely manner. A patient, especially the elderly, needs constant care and attention. It's my job, therefore, to be attuned to those needs even if the patient doesn't or is unable to communicate them. I have a passion to help others. I come from a family of healthcare professionals. It put a smile on my face to know I am a big help to others and i also enjoy my patients company and time.

What makes me a great caregiver is my compassion, I've heard this so many times from my previous patients. I feel like if I can make one persons day when I work I've done my job. My favorite type of care is rehab because I feel a sense of accomplishment from helping people get back to their daily living. What made me want to become a caregiver was in 2001 my great grandmother was placed in a nursing home facility and when I saw the way patients were cared for in the facility it made me want to become a nursing assistant so I could make a difference which is when I developed my mantra that if I can make one persons day I feel like I've done my job.

I became a caregiver because I love helping people,i like the way it makes me feel at the end of everyday knowing I did something good for someone.Everyone says I always go above and beyond my job requirements to make sure my patients are well cared for.I am an experienced CNA of 22yrs,i have worked in nursing homes,assisted livings,hospitals and home care.I'm compassionate,caring,loving and do my job to my fullest ability I have a great personality and I get along with everyone and I would be a great fit for your loved one.

Hello my name is Karen Jeffrey. I have been a CNA since 2011. I absolutely love taking care of people. I have worked in nursing homes,but I enjoy doing home healthcare more. I feel like I make more of a difference in home care because I get to know the patient more and can spend more time with them. I am currently working on going to school to further my career as a RN. I have also babysat, cleaned homes, waitressed,, cashier, and caterings.

My Mother's breast cancer came back and she was terminal. She could no longer care for my disabled Father, so I stepped in to help with cleaning, meal prep, and Dr. appointments. I enjoyed getting to know my parents better until their passing. We had a lot of laughs and hard conversations as well. I became a CNA a year and a half into caring for my parents part time. I was a carpenter by trade and decided on a career change.I have taken care of other patients privately. In the five years that I have been a CNA, I have become quite an advocate for the disabled and enjoy searching for resources to their betterment. I am a married mother of two grown daughters. I enjoy the outdoors and the theater. I have compassion for people in general.. I love to hear their stories and share ideas and experiences of my own. I care for people the way I would want to be treated.

I am a caring loving compassionate human being that loves taken care of elderly people or anyone that's indeed I give 100% of everything that I do I have a father that's 92 years old and we take care of him I love and respect I'm here to do a job and the best of my ability because I would not feel right if someone hurt my father so in need I'm willing to do the same for someone else family member
