Home Health Aide (HHA) Caregivers in Athens - 7 caregivers found

I became a caregiver because I had always wanted to be a nurse when I was younger. Also, my best friend/sister-in-law became very ill at an early age and I had wanted to take care of her but never got the chance as she passed away at age 44. My mom also became ill shortly thereafter and I promised that she would never go to a nursing home. My intention was to care for her in my home, but unfortunately she never made it home from the hospital. I vowed that if I could not help my own family then I would help someone else. I love being able to help people stay in their homes as long as possible and having the family reassured that their loved ones are being cared for in their absence. My personal achievements that I am proud of are being with two of my clients until the end of their life and knowing that I made things a bit easier for their families. As for myself, I am the mother of four sons and grew up with five older brothers.

because im humble ,patient,and have have alot of empathy for others! i no what makes me happy and comfortable so i try to make others feel the same . im very understanding and easy to get along with and i listen before i make discussions . i love kids i have three of my own and three grandkids 10 months to 2 years .i have several godchildren thaT I RAISED FROM BIRTH. ive been watching kids all my life. as for elderly i was raised by my grandparents so i watched them change an assist them on all their needs patiently. i learn fast and im reliable

Because I love doing what I do and taking care of the ones that can't take care of themselves I work very well with the elderly sometimes they can be in the shell do not want to talk but with my personality I can get them to talk and tell me their life stories all the good times today had and what they have done in their life I am very proud of being a caregiver I have help families with their loved ones bring them home for hospice I'm just happy to be able to help someone and their families

What makes me a great caregiver is that i have a great personality and get along with anybody ,I'm very understanding and patient also,I chose to be a caregiver because my grandmother had gotten sick and needed help and I helped her for almost 2 years ,I love what I do because it gives me a opportunity to connect with new people and give them the love and care there looking for.

I have been a caregiver for over 30 plus years I think I followed my mother's footsteps she was a RN and my grandmother didn't walk and my mom taught us how to take care of her and since then I've been taking care of people I've taken care of people that had Strokes I am with the company that provides care for quadriplegics only I just love what I do I like being able to help those who can't help themselves and it takes a lot of pressure off the family to be able to know that you can depend on someone to come in and take care of your loved one for you and don't have to worry about them I would be very honored to step in and help the family take care of their loved ones I've also work with people with dementia I've also did living cases I do 12-hour shifts I think I just love doing what I do what I do because I have families members that I took care of myself
