I have 34 years of Emergency Medical and patient care experience. I also have experience as a Director of a private Home Health Care Division where I ensured client schedules and home care needs were efficiently met. I am outgoing, dependable, caring and I thoroughly enjoy meeting new clients that I am able to help assist with their daily needs.

I care a lot about the elderly. I first started out in this profession helping my father after my mother passed away. He was 75 and needed help with meals and cleaning the home, plus driving him to appointments. I also took care of my dad's sister, after her husband passed away. Helped with meals, took her to any appointments she had and helped with any cleaning around her home. She was 80 at the time and really needed my help. I've also taken care of friend's family members and also a girlfriend of my sisters who had surgery and needed someone with her for 3-4 days post op. It was a great experience doing that and feeling good about helping others. I enjoy the work that I do and look forward to meeting new clients and helping them with getting on with their daily lives. I recently moved from Nebraska. I have one child that I'm most proud of; he is my reason for it all!! I have my degree in Exercise Science and Sports Management. I did my internship with the football team at Peru State College and I really enjoyed being able to help some of my peers get back to competition . ( I tore both ACL so I know how tough it can be mentally and physically). Since then also every job I've had has been to help others... from coaching and training youth to behavioral health and caregiving to working at a resource center where I helped with homework, ACT prep and scholarships. I just let to help others when I can.

Love assisting others

Families should have someone that they could trust to take care of their loved ones, while they are away. I think of my clients as my family and I treat them with respect and care, as I would want someone to do for my loved ones. I do not mind going above and beyond, to assist in taking burdens off family members. I assist with cooking, as well as housekeeping. I have been a caregiver for 6-7 years on and off. I have my own car and I am reliable.

My generous compassion and respect for people along with the experience of caring for my grandmother before and during Hospice Services make me a good candidate as care giver.
