I'm 46 years old I'm married with two sons 17&13. I have been doing this for over 20years. I love what I do. My father is transitioning over and I have been taking care him for the past two years me and my sister. I work night shift at Legacy Village. I was the lead at one of Sunrise houses for almost 5 years. I have taken the Cna test passed test just need to take skills test to be certified. I love taking care the young and old somebody has to be there for them to love them and what they do at the same time.

I was raised to treat everyone with respect and dignity. I am very detailed oriented. The traits that help me to be a great caregiver is being present, able to accept help, able to give help, willing to set boundaries, cooperative, assertive etc. I became attractive to being a caregiver at age of 16 when my grandmother was diagnose with kidney disease. I was her primary caregiver who had to tend to all her doctor appt/visits and medication. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is allowing the individual to remain in there home and independency with help. I enjoy engaging into conversation, outdoor activities and willing to get to know the the individual. Hello my name is Ta'Diazah Williams and I have been a CNA since 2016. I am currently 21 years old and working towards my bachelors of science in respiratory therapy at FAMU. I am a young woman who loves working and loves taking care of others. I have a kind, giving and calming spirit about me that makes me special. I take pride in my work and treat each patient/resident, encounter with nothing but love and the upmost respect. My mom has been a nurse my whole life and watching her growing up as a child pushed me to want to follow in her footsteps. As I got older I began to become fascinated with tracheostomy's and the indications and contraindications and I took the proper steps to achieve that goal at 18 and now I am 21 with only a year left and I will have my bachelor's! That is my personal achievement that I am proud of.
