Also I'm outgoing , hard worker and reliable. What made me become a caregiver was when I was younger my dad took care of my grandfather and I used to help out it was nice being able to help him and keep him going while he was here. What I like about being a caregiver is that I'm able to help some but also it benefits me as well , who wouldn't want to get paid doing something they love lol . Im a great caregiver because I have 2 beautiful daughters and always trusted that they were in great care when they were small and I worked. I also cared for my mom when her health failed. So from caring for them and making sure they had great caregivers makes me know that whomever needed a caregiver would want someone that has a caring heart for people and would treat them as you want to be treated also their love ones. In 1986 I furthered my education in the healthcare field and from then until for I've been working as a Certified Nurse Asst., Home health aid Private Duty Caregiver. I currently operates an Adult Family Care Home were I have live-in Mental impaired residents of whom I've cared for for many years, I also work with Developmental Clients, Alzheimer's Residents too. I love caring for the elderly, Mental, and disabled persons that need help with ADL and that are unable to provide services for themselves. I don't single anyone out or label them I treat them as family and as they are just as you and I HUMAN I see myself not being able to care for myself and often feels that I could be in the same position and would want someone who cares about me and my needs and have the heart to help in areas that I m in need of. My name is Courtney Brown. I have been working in the home healthcare field for 12 years. I am cpr, bls, mandt, fire safety, AAA driver safety, and proxy certified. I have always had the heart and passion to help others especially elders who can't do things on their own. I have worked with many different individuals with different disabilities and needs. I worked in IDD group homes where I had to cook, clean, give meds, provide transportation and help with everyday living assistance. Being able to go home knowing that I was able to help protect and keep others safe is something I am always proud of.

I have a passion for caregiving. Your family is my family. I started caregiving back in 2013 when my grandmother became terminally I'll from bone cancer. At the young age of 19 I had to quit my job at Walmart to care for her along side the help of the hospice nurse. When she passed all the things I learned stuck with me. At that point I knew then it was something I was meant to do, to help other families that may be going thru the same. I've very loving, compassionate and understanding of any and all situations. I'm going to do my absolute best to make everyday a pleasant experience with your family member no matter how hard it may become. The thing I enjoy most about caregiving is knowing I am an able and willing servant of the Lord who doesn't mind helping my fellow people live out the best possible life I can help them live. It gives me great honor just knowing I do my best in helping others in anyway possible. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is that I enjoy helping people. I enjoy sitting and listening to people who enjoy sharing their stories with me when they were younger, or just talking about life in general. As a child I always knew that helping people was what God created me to do and I believe that everyday as I go about my day I see that this my true calling, and I believe that this is what I am suppose to do. I interact with patients all the time when they come into their appointments and there is never a dull moment. They share, and I listen because some have no one to talk to and I believe that me being that person that can talk to not only help them but also helps me to become a great listener and they thank me for that. I have 5 years of experience as a Home Health Aide with extensive skills. I have worked with all kinds of clients: cancer patients, hospice patients, diabetic patients, etc. I enjoy working as a HHA and offering my compassionate care to those who really need my help. I became a caregiver because I love peoples and I like taking care of people. I like listening to clients helping them with there bathing reading to them taking them on walks if they are wheelchair bound just being there for them. One personal Achievement that I have acquired is I was able to fulfilled a wish for my son grandmother she had terminal cancer and did not want to be in a nursing home and I moved out of my home and took care of her until she passed. Hello my name is Ta'Diazah Williams and I have been a CNA since 2016. I am currently 21 years old and working towards my bachelors of science in respiratory therapy at FAMU. I am a young woman who loves working and loves taking care of others. I have a kind, giving and calming spirit about me that makes me special. I take pride in my work and treat each patient/resident, encounter with nothing but love and the upmost respect. My mom has been a nurse my whole life and watching her growing up as a child pushed me to want to follow in her footsteps. As I got older I began to become fascinated with tracheostomy's and the indications and contraindications and I took the proper steps to achieve that goal at 18 and now I am 21 with only a year left and I will have my bachelor's! That is my personal achievement that I am proud of.
