Hi, My name is Terika...I have worked as a CNA in the past and recently as a Personal Care Assistant/Caregiver fulfilling the same type duties of activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, meal prep, laundry,breaking, infection control, vital signs, keeping in safe environment, etc in the nursing home, assisted living, and home healthcare setting...I am a very compassionate, respectful, and trustworthy caregiver and person in general....I enjoy the daily interaction between me and the person receiving care because not only do I play a major part and make a difference in their life but they make a difference in mine....I am proud to say that what I do is not a skillset some just do for pay but I actually have a kind, caring heart to do what I do...I am actually someone who cares about a client/resident and believes in being the best caregiver companion that I can be, not just an employee doing work but truly doing what I enjoy...I am very patient and kind, and I do all things related to care in home including housekeeping, meal prep, as well as care of the client....I would be happy and overjoyed to be of assistance to a family in need of care for their loved one....

What makes me a good caregiver is I'm compassionate and honest and trustworthy the reason I became a caregiver is because I love caring and helping those in need and I like being a caregiver because I get to meet new people in this field and get to help them I am proud of my self because I achieved a goal that I always dreamed of which is being in the health field and my specialty in this field is geriatrics and also love caring for dementia and Alzheimer's patients

I have always loved working with people and people have always taken to me nicely. I am currently in nursing school for my BSN because I want to be able to help people more. I smile a lot and people tell me that my smile makes them feel better. I have been exposed to people with all types of conditions and I have seen a lot.

I am companionate, and I have a strong desire for helping our elderly with the attentiveness and care they deserve and with respect. I make daily notes on everything that goes on during our day together. I am a companion, a friend and I enjoy helping because I lost both my parents at an early age. And I care for my elderly patients the way I would have wanted someone to care for my parents.

I am a people person, I am a caring person for Elderly, kind, honest individual, hard worker, when my clients need me I will be there for them no matter what. From my previous job, my ex-bosses described me as : an excellent work ethnics. Trustworthy, independent, and willing to assist and do whatever was needed to be done.
